Hard to say, but the state house does push back. DeWine's actually not great on the 2nd Amendment, but the State House keeps his dumbassery to a minimum. State Politics are massively corrupt and the Jeets are willing to throw money around. And Vivek is still limited by Federal immigration. We'll probably get less Haitians and Somalis though, DeWine just fucking loves them for some reason.

He'll spend two years doing nothing important except making some fuck ups that's his opponents will write in their book of grudges for later. Come 2028 he'll be out of politics, either by losing his primary or by not running again, and he'll be back on the Jeet grind. Probably writing a book or doing something similar in public speaking.

Ohio gubernatorial terms last for four years, so he'd be up for renomination/re-election in 2030 not 2028. It's Vermont and New Hampshire that do 2-year-terms for governor
