Feel like people viewed these sorts of wars of conquest to just be a thing of the past. Especially since it'd cause so much economic turmoil for Russia while giving them so little benefit.
That is just the End of History cope that lulled so many to think that after 9 thousand years, Humanity truly changed in just a century.
These wars always happened, are happening, and will happen. It wasn't even Russia that cut off economics, but the EU/US.
Cambodia and Thailand are also angry at each other for territorial disputes. This is just how it has always been.
Wealth continues to exclusively be grown at the uppermost levels while everyone else gets fucked.
That is as the uniparty/deep state wants. All according to the plan (to make themselves richer) .
Sonic and Miku says bash the fash!
The only fictional character whose opinion we should be concerned about is Sonichu.

And CWC made his feelings clear on Pmurt years ago! Broken clock, but we must admit OPL was right.

The Senate GOP announced they are allocating $1 billion for security for the ballroom.

The GOP released legislation for its immigration enforcement-focused reconciliation package late Monday night, setting the total spending at $72 billion. But it also included $1 billion in taxpayer funding for security enhancements related to the ballroom addition to the White House.

Remember when this was supposed to be paid by private corporations? A $400 million structure apparently needs $1 billion in Secret Service "security"?

$200 million to $1.4 billion in five months.

At this rate the ballroom will cost $10 billion by the end of the year, $137 billion in 2027, and $2 trillion by the end of 2028. The shitty part is something like this will actually happen.

That's not even counting the cost of ripping it out again and replacing it with something that doesn't make the White House look like the palace of some African kleptocrat.

I was thinking about the immigration problem we have, and what a real solution would look like. Trump is basically a white nigger incapable of anything actually substantive, everything about him is all show, so of course his bullshit attempt was going to fail. And his rubbing it in with videos of ICE detainments LITERALLY CAUSED the leftist uprising we saw. He was making their propoganda for them. Seriously they would just post the videos on reddit and tell everyone "see they are basically the SS we must resist them!" Blah blah blah.

Anyway, it was a complete failure, and even if Trump wasn't a retard who is incapable of subtlety. It would have still been difficult.

The actual solution that I think might actual have a big impact. Go after the employers, the businesses, especially the CEO's. As of now these people seem to barely get a slap on the wrist for employing illegal immigrants, their risk to reward leans in favor of them hiring illegals. The simplest way to cut the flow off, and support for them is to make it a serious criminal offense. I doubt Jeff bezos would want to risk a treason tier criminal charge where he ends up in prison for 20+ years. If we implemented a law like that tomorrow, I have a feeling suddenly there would be a massive number of illegals that get reported to ice, or end up out of a job/don't have an incentive to come in the first place.

Then the other immigration thing is even more simple... Just stop the programs. But the fact that they don't, and won't really shows what this is all about. It's the money. That's what keeps it alive. They want their slave labor, they don't care about the average american citizen. They bring them in so they don't have to pay a living wage + benefits.

Right_wing issues like reducing immigration hiring and left_wing issues like universal healthcare are gatekept by Republicans and Democrats at the behest of business interests.

It's the reason why nothing fundamentally changes whether Trump or Biden get in. You might get some small compromises like more funding for Border Patrol and ICE or some type of subsidized health plan like the Affordable Care Act, but the fundamental issues still remain.

And a massive price hike for most of your goods, without the income spike to keep up with it.

The average American would shut down their business and/or be unable to afford groceries without illegal immigration driving down the costs of manual labor.

I personally think that most Americans would be perfectly fine if they knew that illegal immigrants aren't "taking their tax dollars", i.e. just make illegal immigrants ineligible to receive access to citizen social programs, healthcare etc until their immigrant status is resolved (i.e. if they gain asylum or whatever other process there is). Or simply show people how much they would pay for near-everything without illegal immigration to drive wage labor down.

Every time you hear "illegal immigration", you should realistically think of jobs that give the government tax revenue that wouldn't otherwise exist. The government considers that reasonably free money, without needing to provide much in terms of services (and at the end of the day they can just claim "immigration laws" and kick them out, like Trump is doing).

EDIT: Here:
lol.png

This is from the document:
"The Cost of Illegal Immigration to Taxpayers"

As you can see, all the whining is about the (potential) healthcare they may receive in the future, and the current programs their *US-born children* qualify for. Which sorry, but that's also myopic and retarded unless someone believes that their US-born children will never ever contribute to taxes when they grow up that more than covers for the 0.1% of the federal budget that goes to their education. Just saying.

Edit 2 because fuck it:

I'm not against the concept of kicking out illegal immigrants and keeping them out. I just think that it means 2 things in the short-to-medium term:
1) significantly cutting down welfare/social security/medicare/medicaid programs, as the lack of (current and future) revenue from taxing illegal immigrants or their US-born children will bankrupt those programs faster.
2) as mentioned, higher costs for a lot of shit

Now, without powerlevelling too much, I make enough money to never realistically need #1, and already pay retarded prices for groceries etc, so this is me saying things from a very comfortable position. I think that if someone was to break this down for the (usually subsidized, usually poor, usually below-average-intelligence) voter, they might not take to it so kindly.

It's called minimum wage laws where employers who break the rules by hiring illegals for pennies on the dollar get heavy penalties and imprisonment. You'll never stop it, but it will shut down a lot of the issues. The answer has been obvious for years but the greedy fucks don't want to do it because 1. It means they make less money and 2. It means 1 less issue to complain about in order to get elected.

I posted about it here before, but the more I think about these things going into "real" adulthood, the more I think a lot of boomerism is these folks emotionally protecting themselves from the way their worldview would collapse if they accepted that this whole system is rotten to the core. I don't mind it because I judge it by its historical fruits, I understand its philosophical foundations, I can point to Manhattan, the Internet, Apollo on the Moon as "what was this all for." But they were sold a version of this that was packaged for the World Wars and the Cold War where America was, is and always will be eternally perfect and to admit that we're already in the republican collapse would kill them emotionally.
I’ve said before that miggerism contains the world’s angriest faggot crabs pulling down other angry faggot crabs from getting out of the bucket. I’ve seen many instances where miggers get angry if anyone tries to do better in life. Their philosophy is as long as you got a metal pacifier, a trugg, and a Trump phone that can access TruthSocial, there’s nothing else you need. Hey, if that’s all you aspire to, fine. But they get extremely angry if anyone wants more. Unless you’re a billionaire. Part of them cheering on Trump cutting benefits is to own da libs but part of it is a spiteful part of their hindbrain that says “if my life is shit, yours must be too.” I think many miggers know life is shittier for them but they cope by hoping strawman libtards might be worse off. Miggers enjoy drowning in shit as long as there are some others drowning faster. Misery loves company and Trump and MAGA gives them plenty of release valves. They don’t hope things get better, they want things to get worse so others can be in the same shit pile as them.

The most effective solution is fine and tax the businesses that hire them. Slap a 100% tax on every H1B visa that goes directly to retrain Americans for those jobs. Enact E-Verify for all jobs in the U.S. Any employer who brings on these people and their visas expire are liable. You’ll find immigration law gets tightened up like a snare drum and the time you get immigrants is when they actually need them.

To take it a step further, there is no reason why we are not advancing mechanization and automation. Farming corn and soybeans is pretty much all automated by John Deere these days. I’m sure we can work towards a solution that doesn’t require importing a mass slave class.

This is really what gets me about all of this: regardless of anyone's position on the issue of illegal immigration that regardless of my gut feelings I must be honest and say I don't know enough to merit wishcasting policy on, even if you are 100% on board with mass deportation in the abstract, Trump's implementation is self-defeating: TruChuds got a few hours of parasocially laughing alongside Asmongoloid / their favorite X grifter reacting to embarrassing protestors, but in the long run, not just the violent acts but the violent posturing (a propaganda own-goal!) will be memetically tied to the concept of mass deportations for years to come.

This is actually the most absurd part for me. You guys know I'm sure that H1B visa caps are set by the federal government. They (congress) can just... massively decrease those caps.

Not that it matters much because the H1B cap is 85K (broken down as 65K + 20K for people from advanced US institutions, and excluding non-profit organizations and the like that don't count towards it I believe) per year, and H1B visas are valid for a maximum of 6 years including the maximum extension, so we're talking about something like 600 thousand people on a rotating basis if we're being generous. Which is definitely not nothing, but it's also, again, a drop in the bucket of the job market overall. There's not hordes of millions of H1Bs staffing gas stations, it's likely there's a horde of Indians doing it and it's even possible they're here on other visas (i.e. L-1, O-1 etc etc) and I'm sure that some of it is fraud, but I am unconvinced that it's remotely enough to be any system-breaking change. If anything, it sounds more like a really really convenient pressure valve in a period of objective economic downturn, i.e. it's not the economy, stupid, it's the Indians and if we get rid of them the economy will get so much better!

I don't want to smell curry when I walk outside or see people that can't speak English washing their feet in the starbucks sink and that's enough reason for me to not want Indians in the US. I don't really have to blame an objectively shit economic policy (tariffs?) on them, too.

Exactly. Keeping illegal immigrants isn't the solution to the problem "citizens aren't paid enough to be able to buy food at its actual market value" and it's truly surreal to see so many posters in this thread argue that it is.

Its incredibly concerning to see companies like Microsoft and meta fire thousands of employees to then apply for 10s of thousands h1b visas. Obviously the current labor immigration issues extend further than just h1b but thats the current one that is publicly known. Main issue currently is rapid inflation with incredibly miniscule wage growth and the legalization of stock buy back, allowing companies to buy their own stocks to make the green line go up instead of investing that into their employees and equipment.
