Maybe this had been mentioned previously, but it's been a minor story how Mockler triggered Scott Jennings by just pointing out how the Iran war hasn't gone Trump's/Republican's way.

I thought it was a bit remarkable how the guy seemed genuinely pissed off just by having it pointed out that the Iran war has gone to shit. There's been this weird trend with many Trumpsters acting like the war is won or that at least nothing has really gone wrong, so I suppose it pisses them off an inordinately large amount to state the obvious that the purely optional war fucked things up like raising the cost of gas a fuck ton.





As well they had a guy on last night who was basically defending the Iraq war as though it was defending the US. So Republicans now have people going out and trying to defend the Iran war by saying it's protecting the US as much as the Iraq war did, even though it's a joke at this point how obvious it wasn't really ever a threat to the US.

Feel like people viewed these sorts of wars of conquest to just be a thing of the past. Especially since it'd cause so much economic turmoil for Russia while giving them so little benefit.

Like Russia has viewed their self image as more important than their own well being. That really fucks with the whole image Russia had been trying to promote for years, since now building up economic ties with Russia makes as much sense as doing so with Venezuela or other random shitholes.
 
Miggerism involves the denial of reality if it goes against Orange Nigger’s narratives. To them, Iran is on the ropes and secretly begs for a deal with the United States. To allow this narrative to happen, people just have to ignore everything Iran says or the simple reality that two months ago we heard the war is won. And gas prices are the highest ever. This makes miggers very angry. Meanwhile Trump’s buddies are raking in shitloads of money via insider trading on oil futures. Trump even admits this himself that speculation is running wild. Wealth continues to exclusively be grown at the uppermost levels while everyone else gets fucked.

I posted about it here before, but the more I think about these things going into "real" adulthood, the more I think a lot of boomerism is these folks emotionally protecting themselves from the way their worldview would collapse if they accepted that this whole system is rotten to the core. I don't mind it because I judge it by its historical fruits, I understand its philosophical foundations, I can point to Manhattan, the Internet, Apollo on the Moon as "what was this all for." But they were sold a version of this that was packaged for the World Wars and the Cold War where America was, is and always will be eternally perfect and to admit that we're already in the republican collapse would kill them emotionally.

There aren't that many people left alive who remember a war of this scale, at least in Europe.

The Iran-Iraq War's probably the closest modern war in terms of scale, sophistication, casualties and motivations, along with the foreign support provided to both sides. Even that was over 40 years ago now.

Candace Owens is at the very least good at being entertaining via catfights with other female right-wing talking heads, but Tucker is utterly useless. There's no reason to stick around and listen to him.
