  16. "Clarify that a person receiving assistance in only one functional area (such as financial management) would not, on that basis alone, be considered prohibited" under mental health disqualifier

  18. Clarify when a transaction is a straw purchase
  19. Formally define "willfully" for firearms violations
  20. Remove the list of former Soviet countries from which ATF currently denies applications to permanently import most firearms and ammunition, retaining only the Russian Federation"

TBH I wouldn't be surprised that most of the stuff coming out already from some these places is actually really from Russia, just reboxed or shipped in blank and given new stamping. Kind of like how it's highly suspected that Arsenal Bulgaria's line of stamped AK rifles from a few years ago were actually really coming from Kalashnikov Concern a few hundred miles east. Still, I love the old Soviet/Russian/Combloc stuff and welcome this, anything that will help make 5.45 plentiful again is a plus.

"A special grand jury in New Orleans indicted outgoing Orleans Parish Sheriff Susan Hutson on state corruption charges Wednesday, Attorney General Liz Murrill confirmed.

Murrill’s office said Hutson faces 30 felony counts, while the agency’s chief financial officer Bianka Brown was charged with 20 counts.

The indictment charges Hutson, 59, with 14 counts of malfeasance in office, four counts of conspiracy to commit malfeasance, three counts of filing or maintaining false public records and three more counts of conspiracy, three counts of obstruction of justice, and three conspiracy counts for obstruction.

Criminal District Judge Pro Tem Franz Zibilich set a $300,000 bond for Hutson. The sheriff, who has days left in office, did not respond to a phone message seeking comment."
