I dont beleive in Virginia they labeled/identified the districts by race or based on race. In Louisiana and many other states they specifically yelled loud and proud they were re-drawing districts to achieve an additional "black representative district". Any state that made it clear they were redistricting based on race will have their maps thrown out out, but I dont think this applies to Virginia.

As others have said with Texas being allowed to "gerrymander" the only solution is to take advantage of this in the red states to counteract the foolishness of Virginia and others. Sadly I doubt "our side" will have the will/guts to do it.

I was hoping for the entire Voting Rights Act to be struck down, but I will be thankful for what we got today.

I guess I should be glad that this is as good as it gets as far as mad dog killer assassins from the current generation, because we apparently don't have much to worry about.
Each assassin, more Reddit than the last. Next time it will be a furry wearing his suit with a diaper and Covid mask on screaming “THIS IS FOR SCIENCE!! TRANS RIGHTS!!” as he Naruto runs at secrete service with Bo staff covered in anime stickers.

I personally blame niggers on social media rediscovering "sovereign citizen" content and pushing a resurgence of it. If you watch body cam channels, you'll notice a recent uptick of niggers, illegals and spiritually brown people using the ol' sovereign citizen play book when confronted by police. It's honestly infuriating and maddening.
>Why is you stoppen me??
>I don't has to gib you my ID!
>What crime dids I committed Ocerfer!

Followed by them either fleeing the scene or getting tackled to the ground and squealing like a HOG.
>REEEEEE whats did I do!
>Yous was scaring me, I ran cuz I was SCARED!!!
>Yous be menacing me nigga
>I can't breefe! I has anxiety and autism and and.....
>I didn't doooo nufffin! You cants do dis!!!
>MUH RIGHTS! MUH FREEDOM! YOU WORK FOR ME

this has spread from the ghetto tictok/Instagram people out into the general libshit/nigger/antifa sphere of influence as the police and ICE operations have escalated. They're viewing and actually endorsing this behavior because Niggers=good ICE/LEO/Trump=BAD. I expect well get a few more dead retards before this trend ends. It's all so tiresome.

Has anyone noticed an uptick in under the table wages lately? Know a few young people trying to get jobs, our state has around a $15 per hour minimum wage, and many are being offered $10/h cash.

Americans are having to do the same shit illegals have to these days.

How is noticing reality dooming? Early voting for the very LA district this case ruled unconstitutional begins in two weeks (May 16). This congressional district will still exist for two more years. Whatever map gets redrawn would be for 2028 (hopefully if it survives all those challenges)
Minor correction: May 16 is the primary election. Early voting starts Saturday (in three days).

The local paper says the SC's decision sends it back to the state panel to redraw but nobody knows when that can happen.

What happens next?

It was not immediately clear whether or how the decision would affect looming elections. Early voting starts Saturday for May 16 elections for Congress and a number of other offices.

“My lawyers are currently analyzing the opinion,” said a statement from Secretary of State Nancy Landry, whose office oversees voting. “We are limited in what we can say at this time as this continues to be active litigation, with the case remanded for proceedings back to the Western District.”

State Rep. Beau Beaullieu, R-New Iberia, chairs the House and Governmental Affairs Committee and would play a key role in drawing any new congressional map. Asked Wednesday morning about whether lawmakers will work to draw a map during the current legislative session, Beaullieu said, “We will be reviewing the decision and will know more once we know the particulars of the SCOTUS ruling.”

Said Murrill: “I will continue to work with the Governor and the Legislature to provide guidance as we move forward to adopt a constitutionally compliant map.”

You could interpret this as illegals leaving, forcing business owners to rely on Americans instead (which is good obviously).
