The nurse doesn't outright reject Aster's speculation, and says they might be able to do a nose swab.

Aster's heartrate is freaking out. She posts many pictures, but they're boring and I don't screencap them.

She tells the hospital staff, and they simply disconnect the monitors.

Aster thinks she has a blood clot

She gets a new IV. She's going to stay in the hospital for a little bit.

completely unable to pee.

The doctor thinks she does not have an infection and that the wound is just colonized.

Aster gets catheterized and pees 500 mL. She's sure that her bladder is constantly retaining more than that ALL the time.

And she wants to ask for IV saline but knows that looks silly, so she asks her followers to affirm her.
She can also barely walk.

Monique threatens to not visit if Aster doesn't shower. Guess the roommate brought her shower supplies for nothing.

Aster loves her infectious disease doctor.

Aster's bladder hurts and she feels neglected. She's been waiting for two hours to get cathed.

She gets cathed and reports releasing 900 mL of urine. She finally takes a shower.

And gets her dressing wet

She's afraid to drink water in case the hospital staff "abandons" her again.

Aster wants a full neuro workup

And she loves the night shift nurse. (coincidentally, she happens to be black.)

Aster wants to get cathed a third time before bed

Aster wonders if her bladder is going to be broken forever. She thinks about her friend with a suprapubic catheter who deals with life-threatening superbugs every week.

Aster wakes up and still can't pee.

Aster doesn't get hydroxyzine, but she does get albuterol.

Aster wants a bedframe for when she inevitably goes home with a foley catheter. They told her she can do her urodynamic testing outpatient.

Even though the urologist said he was sending Aster home, the hospital keeps her.

Aster washes her hands 1.1 times per minute for 10 minutes. The hospital bathroom has black mold.
