Don't take my word for it, but my understanding is he's still recording new slop, but he won't do the daily live show with M & HBC.

He also did a "gaming" live stream yesterday and had a full-on drunken twitter crashout after, so nothing much has changed so far during his vacation.

This is 100% correct. It’s the same garbage that derailed Gamergate back then. I’ve said it before in another thread, but never trust paid activists (in this case, youtubers like the Quartering). They have a vested interest in keeping things going and have no interest in solving the problem.

Quartering has 2 million channel followers (allegedly). If he stopped chasing the algorithm while desperately trying to get new viewers and instead focused on catering to the viewers that he already has then he would be doing so much better right now, say what you will about his slop content but a lot of people out there like his slop content, but the slop quality has been declining the more desperate Jer gets.

Word of mouth is more valuable than discoverability, if you want proof of this then Take Kino Casino for instance, it's discoverability is practically nil and no one would think to go to Kick to watch them if not for word of mouth, they are incredibly successful despite being on a backwater site.

Quartering needs to relax, put down the beer and stop worshipping at the alter of that all powerful algorithm, he will be happier for it, his content may improve, at least for the people who used to watch him, and a happier and better focused Jer will succeed better than whatever he's killing himself over doing right now, this break might actually be good for him in that respect, it might give him some perspective.

That being said the Quarterplanet is a lolcow, he will not take a break, he will not put down the beer, he will not self reflect, and he will not improve, he will continue to spiral. Prove me wrong Jer.

I think the real mistake there was that Craig didn't press her on how bad the stream is actually failing.
He mentioned that they were much bigger than Jeremy, but the size of the show isn't as important as the fact that Jer's show makes literally nowhere near enough to even cover Mel's salary, let alone Hannah Claire's.
He should have forced her to acknowledge that they aren't making money and that the show isn't going to last.
