I think the point of the break is to isolate himself from that immediate feedback he is getting from his chat. Its so much easier, and fuels less a-logging, if he just pumps out his pre-recorded stuff.

His political/cultural takes are usually retarded but dont provide us with much content. The man is desperately trying to weather the storm.

As funny as it was for Jarbo to get a few hits in, I'm over it now. He's still a flaggot and always will be. I'm getting SmashJT vibes from his single minded focus on Jer, and if he doesn't immediately take this tiny window of opportunity to push new content, he'll miss his tiny opportunity to revive his failed youtube career.
 
The “spring break” move has some obvious explanations:

1) From his constant pulse / stress checking today during the show, it’s clear Jer was extremely unprepared for the fact he’s been stripped from the front page. Half his sub 2000 live viewers are most certainly hate watching which only makes it worse. Jer is likely hoping that if he can get away from this and prove it’s blown over in a month that he has some chance back to being featured. This will not happen. He’s made Rumble and it’s CEO a laughing stock and that shit is like concrete for grudges.

2) He’s soft quitting and will announce the shows cancelled in the coming weeks but is hoping that when he does there will be less exposure.

3) Mel & Hannah are now coming under attack, and while Mel can be a professional whore for the camera, behind the scenes I don’t see her having the mental or emotional fortitude to weather Total Retard War. Hannah likely gave Jer a time frame for him to try and mitigate the disaster (which isn’t going to happen) before she moves on.

4) (unlikely) He did the thing he should have done ages ago and spoke to someone actually talented in marketing / pr who told him to shut the fuck up and get distance.

5) (extremely unlikely) He did the thing he should have done ages ago and spoke to someone that has talked him into rehab.

EDIT:

Why am I not seeing this plastered all over Mel and Johnny Junkers comments right now? It’s too perfect.

Oh, I'm not trying to suggest that going live is a good idea. The best thing for him would probably be to sell all of the extravagant bullshit he's bought, retire, and focus on his health before he drinks himself to death. I'm just saying that the tweet he put out about the break is a bit ambiguous, and I take it to mean that he will be doing some sort of livestream while Mel and Hannah take a break.
I realized something potentially interesting while typing this. He's still under contract with Rumbull until June, right? Hasn't missed a show in 4 years? Does anyone else find it odd that this impromptu break is occurring right as Rumbull stops featuring him on the front page and cuts him out of their ads? I reckon it's possible that they're cutting him loose, and this "break" will end up being permanent. Just another possibility. I'm happy to eat crow if I'm proven wrong tomorrow.

Yeah, I'm with you. Keemstar very clearly sentenced him to 10 years of irrelevancy on the Boulder Stream, and I find his attempt to break out 2 years early distasteful.

I think it is very compelling in tandem with reposting stuff about how hard it is giving up your gayness for Jesus etc... It is more likely than not that he has an attraction to men.

Won't be surprised if that's the new pivot he's going to try to do. Wouldn't be the first time he attempted to try to find a new industry to ruin and be worsened. And changing how he handles his media feels like something he would do just to save his ego and lie to advertisers for scam money.
