I've always wondered what it must feel like to depress the trigger and feel that gun let rip underneath your crotch. Do you think A-10 pilots need to take boner pills?
Shameless plug for the KF DCS attack squadron activation.

Fly an A-10A, A-10C, or A-10C II in high fidelity.

As a rule of thumb, i don't care about news coming from "sources".

Also i have already shared that, you're late.
there's also just the fact that even if it is confirmed true and not namelessly sourced.

saying "the pentagon has detailed plans for X" doesn't actually indicate it's likely to happen. The pentagon has plans for fucking everything, they have people in place who's job it is to draft of plans for every possible contingency, we likely have plans on file for what it would take if we ever needed to invade every ally we have on the globe, it doesn't mean we're going to do it.

Planners plan, it's what we pay them to do.

Trump backs up Graham calling NATO a bunch of do-nothing pussies.
Starting to think Trump's biggest miscalculation was underestimating what absolutely massive cowards Europeans are, even when something directly affects them way more than it does us.

Europe was turned after the cold war into feminized, castrated money generation pit for tourism, Benelux pedolizard decadence and overvalued Euro. In a closed box conflict with Turkey and some middle eastern countries with no US presence, I bet my life EU would simply run out of ammunition and knuckle over under superior numbers if it got into total war unable to retool fast.

IIRC I read somewhere that Raytheons production capacity has been like 700 a year. I don't know how old that figure is, and if they have stepped up their production, but gives you an idea. Let's say they produce 1000 a year. That means you can shoot 3 Patriot missiles a day, and that goes for every single user in the planet.
tl;dr: Raytheon has said they have the ability to do a massive scale up, they just need the orders.
Ukraine put in a massive patriot order to be filled over 10 years so they may have already started on the ground work.

This headline from CBS sounds like ground troops are imminent, but it's more like "we're thinking about thinking about it".

Really feels like he's on the verge of pulling out of NATO.
Europe has no idea how hard they've fucked themselves over with this stunt. I can only hope the Iranian people are at least given a chance to rise up. Still feels like we're a couple of weeks away from them being able to do so.
He's not really. But its definitely dented the whole thing. it underscores that US interests and European interests are not aligned right now, and little effort is being made to try and bridge that gap.

Trump's is the first administration in a while that knows how to get shit done.

He understands that you don't need boots on the ground to create a retarded middle eastern quagmire at the behest of Israel with ambiguous, unenforceable victory conditions that costs Americans retarded amounts of money and fucks our cost of living :smug:

You're all very smart in this thread, hope you all make a million bucks, except @Catch The Rainbow and @Maori Kiwifruit Growers , hope you guys make 12 to split. Entering Week 4 now, if memory serves it was supposed to be an about 4 week operation at the start of it. I have my doubts, we'll see.

I mean would we even need to "hold" the island in the first place? Surely just denying it to the enemy with a few strikes every now and then would be enough.
If you wanted to block Iranian oil exports you could simply seize their ships after they passed the Strait. The US navy hasn't done that because of the market disruptions that would cause. If the US takes Kharg Island the same would happen too. Unless oil somehow keeps flowing. Which could lead to the convoluted and hilarious situation of US marines having to service Chinese tankers loading up on Iranian oil for export.

I don't doubt that Trump could be planning some expeditionary forces to take control of key strategic positions. The idea that we should assume Trump is planning to flood the region with a massive invasion force is dumb. But the Trump admin media enemies know how to create effective propaganda to feed the fears of stupid people prone to knee-jerk panic.

SUCK IT CHAIR FORCE! She's not dead yet! My Brrrrt mommy is going to be with us forever! Cope and Sneed!
Haha like that hit manga I was a loner until that terrorist attack and now I am a mechanic for plane girls. They can’t take away Best Girl no matter how much those social justice warriors try!1! Rrrreeeeeeeeeeee!!!

I could see the us annexing some islands for future bases.

The US hasn't seized Iranian tankers for the same reason we haven't ACKed the president or MPs; there is no legal basis to do so as there is no official state of war between the US and Iran.

The Iranian tankers have legal (enough) paperwork, they are doing trade with China that technically violates sanctions but the Chinese entities they are doing business with are not in the SWIFT network so there isn't anything the US can do about it except seethe. The US was able to the VZ tankers because they were operating with illegal registrations, and then later because the VZ government gave permission/outted their contacts.

Two weeks more until the Shah-led PERSIA invades Greece again to destroy the Eurocuck Union. It came to me in a dream.

Trump's genius truly is unparalleled. NATO is finished.

The initial estimates were 4 to 6 weeks, and we're at the end of week 3. I believe tomorrow is the start of week 4, so we're just now reaching what the bare minimum timeframe was expected to be at the start.
