>Fatpacks showing up to do his doomer routine from the US politics thread

Oh noes, woke movies won at the woke awards show! This is obviously the same thing as an election, proving that Trump has lost and the left will win everything from hear on out. The right is completely screwed this time, I swear!

YOU WILL NOW GET BLACKED IN YOUR KIDS TV SHOW BECAUSE MICHEAL B JORDAN GOT CALLED NIGGER AND IT WAS THE ACTIVATION PHASE OF A DEEP COVER DNA EXPERIMENT BY THE ATLANTIDEANS TO TURN ALL THE CONSERVATIVES FUCKING GAY AND PUT TRUMP IN A COCK CAGE

Thing is, Michael B. Jordan ain't a bad actor. And Oscars don't rewrd the best actor, but the best performance. Mo'nique won an Oscar because she gave a superb performance in Precious, even when the rest of her work is mediocre. Sometimes, they even give a "reparation" award to amend for previous snubs. Did MJB deserve the award? Maybe, but personally I feel it sour because he spent the past two weeks playing the victim versus a guy with a mental condition he can't control.
Funnily enough, this year feels like a rehash of the crash best picture fiasco. I wasn't old enough to watch the oscars when that happened but from reruns and general cultural osmosis, I figured that was the biggest shit show wrt awards in oscar history, in hindsight. The films of the 2020s haven't been particularly good compared to 10s, oughts and 90s with the industry shifting towards binge worthy industrial slop, making the oscars redundant or even a bit crap. 22, 23, 24 and 25 werent particularly notable but this year it feels much like the crash situation and a bit like the green book win, another racebaiting film won a lot and the political film won as well. Sinners will only be remembered as that one time black people made a decent genre movie. It's kinda sad actually, like I said earlier in the thread, I grew up with the oscars in my teens, they were alongside E3 for me, the big awards show of the year. Now ones dead and the other is crap, and I haven't even hit my 30s yet.

Totally missed it because I didn't even bother to look up when the show was even happening. Can't say I'm surprised about any of the winners; OBAA and Sinners were definitely the prime Oscar bait this year. And it's always a joy to see Disney get felted for another year in a row, especially when their offerings were a cash grab sequel and another Pixar flop with an unsettling beanmouth main character.

Anything funny happen that I missed? Ever since The Slap, they seem to have been running a tighter ship, which is unfortunate for those of us who were just watching to see how bad of a shitshow it would get, really the only entertainment value from the show anymore.

So nothing out of the expected, then.
Wealthy leftists get to smell their own farts once more, online chuds get somewhat felted, and the ratings still sink to historic lows because this never takes the opinions of John Q. Public seriously. Ho hum.

At least the Brazilian "muh dictatorship bad" nomination didn't win for the second year in a row.

Disney hasn't given a shit about the Oscars in years and are essentially trying to unfuck themselves by desperately trying to get back general audiences after going full retard pandering to the left and hiring activists. They already know about the Academy's vendetta against them at this point and like every soulless conglomerate they'll continue pushing out slop for the masses. The Academy already revealed that they still don't give a shit about animation to the surprise of no one so them snubbing Disney over to give it to the second worst film in the lineup due to popularity just proves that they're right with that mindset.

Absolute cinema 🙌

They're too deep in the spiral, it'll take a while to course correct, assuming they have the will or ability. Their nominations were pretty hilarious in hindsight, Elio is basically a pro-pedophilia film and Zootopia 2 was a weak rehash with explicit anti-White themes only buoyed by legions of thirsty furries. K-Pop Demon Hunters was very formulaic but its a bit refreshing to see that the ultimate message was anti-race mixing.

Remember kids, if you're bi-racial you can still serve a role in exterminating the subhumans! As long as you are useful, you will be spared. Just think of it as long-term revenge against the bestial race that raped your mom.

Funnily enough, this year feels like a rehash of the crash best picture fiasco.

As long as the academy continues to have its stupid diversity guidelines and requirements to be considered for awards, every year will be this. Just pandering racial commie bullshit until the Oscars wither away and die, as they desrve.

Best Documentary Feature Film: Mr. Nobody Against Putin
Best Documentary Short Film: All The Empty Rooms

Two more examples of their political pandering. They really need to update their programming regarding Putin, Russia and Trump because as time continues to pass their theories become increasingly, almost farcically, implausible. As for 'All the Empty Rooms' I personally find it distasteful to stand on the corpses of kids the government killed through inaction or deliberate plotting and demand that citizens disarm themselves. Of course, they need everyone disarmed so that the hordes of illegals, niggers, and criminals they unleash won't be shot dead by the Whites they want to genocide.

That was because back then it was ok to be openly homophobic so the Oscar's essentially pussed out from awarding an objectively great film that just so happen to be about gay cowboys and gave it to a mediocre "racism is bad m'kay" flick. They honestly didn't need to cater so hard to one side this year and could have just continued their trend of awarding off brand "movies for the sake of movies" projects they've been doing but they couldn't help themselves.

One thing's for sure, tonight just marked the end of the right's short-lived cultural relevance. The next few years will be one leftist victory after another (pun not intended) while what's left of Trump's support base flails around calling anyone who sees the writing on the wall a panican doomer libtard.
Except nothing has been done to counter the cathedral. Every institution has been getting more extreme over the past few decades, and the MAGA movement was a public, not institutional response to the growing extremism on the left. Trump is still an establishment shill, who's not actually right-wing, but rather a 90's liberal who's mad at growing progrevism on the left that will hurt his pockets. There hans't been a real rightward response to woke yet. Only a growing consciousness of its effects and what it is. Currently only the far-right is the only real group that has a counter, but until we gain enough support to be able to create a self-sustaining support structure, the far-right will only exist as a hated minority, by both the left and moderate right with no real power.

Mr Nobody should not have won.
Compare it to 2000 meters which is way better.
That one is really grim.
