There is a Laverne And Shirley cartoon, though, except they are in the Army, and there is a pig character in that cartoon.

Yeah, I think this cartoon and the other one were mushed together in my brain.

As for the 90's Doctor Who cartoon, it's a shame it didn't work out. Sounds like too many moving parts were involved. A fan series would probably be more doable now than ever now that we have AI (and it would probably turn out better than the anime fan version that was made a few years back.)

Even the cast was. David Yost was semi-famously closeted for years. I knew that before I knew what buttsex was because my dad knew his dad.
David Yost made sure Netflix did not retcon Billy as gay in the Netflix Power Rangers special. He cares about power rangers' canon to not turn his character gay because he is in real life. Unlike what Star Trek did with Solo. The Netflix implied Billy was married to the alien chick he hooked up in the 90s.

He previously expressed a desire for Zack Taylor, the first Black Ranger, to be cast as the Pink Ranger in the 2017 Power Rangers reboot. All the stupid woke stuff from Power Rangers 2017, such as the Yellow Ranger being a Latina lesbian with an Asian name and Billy being a Black autistic kid, is from Max Landis. The power rangers were already multicultural to begin with.
Max Landis is up there with Adi Shankar on the hack fraud scale, especially when it comes to their "takes" on Power Rangers. Just look at Shankar's terrible "Power/Rangers Unathorized Bootleg" short film starring James Van Der Beek (RIP). It's always the same tired shit; What if the rangers swore? What if they showed blood or death? What if they were real shitheads and had "real" problems like le drugs. It's the same trite shit that people think is really clever like, "what if Mario ate a mushroom but he got high." It's such a juvenile way to think something is "mature." It's how you get genuine shit like The Boys. Also isn't it funny how it's always the really progressive guys that want to put Black men in dresses?

Anyway, the final nail in the coffin is that the much more conservative country of Japan, which birthed PR's true origin, Super Sentai, has already covered much of this surface level shit and themes in a much less edgy (read: shitty) way. Most notably, male pinks have been a thing since at least 2011 with the first full fledged male pink ranger appearing in DonBrothers. Donbros is also superior than anything Landis or Shankar have ever made but that's neither here nor there.

I have heard it said that short film was supposed to be a parody of that Hollywood trope.

I actually find it more damning that Poe's law has reached the point we can no longer tell what's satire and what isn't.

Featuring Jack Quaid again, guess he’s doing the rounds for The Boys.

The “Mike forgets the prequels exist and Jay berates him because that’s the only reason any of them are there” segment was good.
I don't mind Jack Quaid as a guest. He plays off well with the RLM dudes while not trying too hard.

Honestly, the trivia videos are the only RLM videos I consistently watch anymore. They're fun.

"The Prequels are the reason why we're even here!" bit was fantastic. lol.

That's ... actually completely forgivable, and indicative of the shoddy state of Star Wars merch.
Now I'm curious because I checked my copy and every page is fine. How did RLM get such a bad copy?
