In a letter from November 12, 2025, Morgan asks Nick the following:
  • What happened to the crowdfunded money for the Vic Mignogna legal fees:
  • Why did you recommend Ty Beard to Mignogna?
  • If Mignogna had chosen a different lawyer, not Ty Beard, would you have assisted in raising funds for his legal defense?

Nick acts like Morgan just reached out to him again asking about Vic, that is if you consider "just" four months ago. Nick thinks it's humorous Morgan is going to get an entire book out of the Vic saga. This is something that "has consistently baffled" Nick. He claims everything was done "in a way where it was all verifiable, in public and I couldn't touch the money at all. It went directly into a regulated account, regulated by the state of Texas." He continues that he set it up in the most effective way Nick could think of.

[Morgan] asked what happened to the money? To which Nick answers, "bro, I set up the GoFundMe, and the money from that goes straight into the account that it's set to go into to, which was the trust account." Nick says, "once that trust account was linked, not only did I make a post about it, but it changed who the host of the fundraiser was to Beard and Harris law firm." As a result, Nick has no idea how the money was spent, but rest assure "none of it was spent on [Nick]."

Nick did not address the last two questions from Morgan in regards to Vic.

We know he stole the 3 custom Star trek knives that were donated to Vic. He bragged about it on his show. He claimed that keeping them was due to incompetence rather than theft but he clearly didn't care about the wishes of the guy that donated them to benefit Vic.

To be honest, an argument could be made that he accepted them as a lawyer to pay Vic's legal fees and did nothing to get that into those lawyer fee accounts. He argued that somehow the Go Fund Me terms-of-service prevented him from doing his fiduciary duty as a lawyer that started the GFM.

@Potentially Criminal , @AnOminous - is this an ethical violation? Do lawyers have to report ethical violations if they become aware? He still has what is essentially a donation to Vic's legal defense fund.

The nice part of the current Rekieta sludgeworld is that more and more sane analytical minded people are taking a look. Not as rabid alogs but just as relatively disinterested researchers. Morgan has great potential to deliver Eric July style killshots simply by asking questions, posting receipts like those letters he sent the Rekietas and similar.
Hackamania weekend seems like it might be a watershed.
