How the US and Israel deceived Iranian leadership and China
The strike that killed Khamenei and 40 of the top Iranian leadership at his Palace all at once came together through an extensive deception operation between the US and Israel against Iran and China.
The deception operation on how they conducted the strikes got released, and its an amazing display of military, strategy and intelligence.
Firstly they understood that China was observing and sending satellite info to Iranian leadership, monitoring American and Israeli airforce bases. Tracking what is there and what is being used, and most importantly what is grounded.

Knowing that this was occurring, Israel and the US positioned their F22's on one of the main airforce bases in Israel. They kept them grounded there. The reason for this is the F22 is the US's premiere air superiority fighter, and the crown jewel of the US air force. They stationed 11 fighters in Israel and kept them grounded.
They then did 3 distinct deceptions:
Strikes in Lebanon as a distraction with another AFB, so as they were doing operations, it didn't look like anything out of the ordinary was happening as sorties were occurring. So when China was looking on the Satellite, it looked like all the important strike assets for Iran were grounded, so there were no "tells" that anything was occurring. Just a build up by the optics.
They emptied the Israeli military high command carpark "Kiriya", they then leaked to the media that the entire high command had left for the weekend. What this did is when this got announced, they could then "cross reference" with the Satellites, see the carpark empty and assume that it was the case. No high command in Israel, they are all at home. No strikes will occur while the high command is at home. - By doing this regularly, pattern of life allowed the deception to occur when it was needed.
This combined with the US telling them via their "spies" that strikes were not occurring in the immediate got relayed to the Iranian leadership through their own network as to ensure confidence, coming straight from Trump.
When this got combined, the Iranian leadership felt completely safe and convinced nothing was going to occur in the immediate future kinetically Due to the Chinese satellite over watch showing nothing was occurring as confirmation. So their leadership felt safe to congregate their entire high command at Khamenei's palace. When intelligence signaled that everyone was there, strikes got green lit to go.
It was scheduled for later in the day according to reports, but they couldn't ignore the chance and went in the morning when the strikes occurred.
