Like I said earlier. If US were to make formal and reasonable requests, the higher up the better, I don't doubt that the European NATO allies would spare unites to help out.

Calling in allies on Truth Social, after you have berated them at the same platform a week ago, isn't probably getting it done.
what does europe even have to send, and i mean this unironically.
the only nuclear carrier eu has is the CDG which has now deployed to the red sea after the attacks on cyprus

The JCPOA agreement was retarded from the getgo, a glorified can kicking down the road ritual where everyone patted each other on the back and did an international circlejerk. Regardless, it went down by 'experts' as a great deal and something legacy making for Barry because Iran would be true and honest about their nuclear program in return for some economic relief. Thankfully it only lasted 3 years before Trump tore it up in May of 2018.

An earlier 2018 raid on Iran's nuclear archive showed Iran lied and was just going to wait out the political hot potato of Irans nuclear ambitions and that they already had a vision for expanding and hiding their nuclear weapon program. Trump doesn't get much flack, if any, for tearing up the agreement now. Even in 2020, 2024, it was never even mentioned. The big topic was the Hamas Israel war in 2024.

Events have since transpired that have turned the table on its head. The Hamas Mario kart massacre of October 7th gave Israel a free pass by nearly all world governments to go after Hamas, Hezbollah and parts of Syria and Iraq. Putin getting stuck in Ukraine caused Syria and Venezuela, two BRICS members to topple, Russia can't save anyone anymore. After the success of Midnight Hammer, its consequences and failed negotiations, and killing of their own people, its become clear that Obama was a dumbass who go duped into into a bad faith agreement because Barry wanted to atone for all the world evils and promised the US would be a good person in the international community.
Ben Rhodes has been absolutely losing it, he was Obama's middle east guy and has watched everything go up in smoke. It's been amazing to watch his seething.

Aren’t most tankers under flags of convenience anyways? Outside the Marshall Islands which is really a us country under the surface but it’s not ok. I struggle to see how Iran is saying it will allow passage.

Iran should fire on all ships under a flag of convenience I reckon.

Damn tax evaders. Give them a chance to do some good in the world.

There are countries who could send in a few warships to help with escorts. And if there is an actual cease fire at some point, there is plenty of mine sweeping knowledge that could probably be sent.

But mind you, Europe is still wary because Russia is fucking about in the Baltic Sea. Royal Navy and France should be able to spare some ships, but I guess for Starmer it would be a political suicide.

We should nuke England after we're done with Iran, just to be safe. They're already in the middle of undergoing their own Islamic Revolution anyway.

The truth of the Royal Navy is that only one of their carriers can be deployed, but they currently don't have enough deployable ships to make up a carrier group. Their fleet is small, poorly maintained and they lack the ability to carry out operations while maintenance is being done.

An update from the my Iranian friend, he says there were many refugees who fled into neighboring countries. Wealthy are able to go to eastern or western Europe but most are only able to make it to Turkey, Georgia or Armenia. There are other countries too like Kazakstan and Tajikistan but most have gone to those first 3. Turkey doesn't want refugees and is kicking them out so most are ending up in Georgia and Armenia.

Israel has approved $826M for an "urgent and classified security procurement" related to the war

A union of secular Iranians and Georgians fighting against the muslim scum of Russian Chechnya is something I need in my life.

The raid was probably the reason Trump tore up the deal. Mossad stole the original documents for their nuclear weapons program, proving beyond doubt that Iran was full of shit. There's an article about it on wikipedia - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Israeli_infiltration_of_an_Iranian_nuclear_archive

France unironically has a good navy. The main problem with it is that it's small. And they have experience doing shit far from home with all the games they've been playing south of the Maghreb for the last 25 years

No matter how he asked, the Europeans would have waffled and ultimately done nothing like they always do.

Why give those stuffy bureaucrats the dignity of filing out whatever 2000 page form they think is proper when a tweet works just as well?

It's ridiculous TBH that their performance in WW2 (which was sad) somehow erases the fact that the French are most militarily successful nation in the history of humanity. And even after WW2 they have been a formidable force, and when Britain and Germany have been castrated after Cold War, France is at least trying to a degree.

Navally #1 in Europe. Air Force #1. Army? That I might give to Poland. But compare what they have to Britain and Germany these days...
