Robin Hood is a hero. He's clever, he's charming, and he's a genuinely good dude. He's trying to save both Nottingham from an evil king, and pining after a genuinely sweet and beautiful woman who actually loves him deeply. His sexiness comes effortlessly because he's the kind of man who falls nicely into that stride as a gentleman.
He wasn't the product of the anti-hero worshipping, "villains are the real good guys" Hollywood of the late 2010s.
He doesn't steal the money, then go and fuck the bunny widow woman as payment in exchange for the "tax returns", like what every Hollywood hack would say "needs to happen" cause of "corruption".
He doesn't creepy on children, do lines of coke, crashout in therapy, and try to fuck the fat sheriff while taking ecstasy.

It just has to be art style, then, right?

The horse man is literally fucking a human woman, in lingerie. Furries: meh.
The goofy fox is having a great day. Furries: omg hottest thing ever.
I guess what I'm trying to say is that if it were just about anthropomorphic animals, I'd expect Bojack to be more popular.
The thing is Bojack himself is an insufferable faggot with a terrible physique and probably went to Epstein Island too. Normal Words But A Horse Guy is just unfuckable by any metric.

It's an insufferable quality of Hollywood that they think the average Joe gives a fuck about the rich and the famous's gay crashouts.
If it was meant as satire it fails.

Ive been trying really hard not to (((notice))) too often lately but I jusy had to check...

Bob-Waksberg was raised in Palo Alto, California[1] with his two sisters, Becky and Amalia.[2]

His family is deeply involved in the Jewish community,[2] and Bob-Waksberg was raised Jewish. From 1982 to about 2010, his mother and grandmother ran a Judaica gift and book store titled Bob & Bob Fine Jewish Gifts and Books.[3][4] His father, David Waksberg, helped Russian-speaking Jews emigrate to the United States and served as CEO of Jewish LearningWorks, a San Francisco-based religious education center, until his retirement in 2020.[1][5] His father has stated, "When a friend asked me about [BoJack Horseman] after the first season, I said it was about teshuvah."[2] When asked how his culture has influenced his art, Bob-Waksberg replied, "Asking me that question is like asking a fish how much being in water has affected it."[2] He has implied that his family perceived comedy as a viable career path, stating in a Times of Israel interview, "Humor was a big part of my childhood. My family was full of comedians. We'd sit around the dinner table and try to one-up each other. It sometimes ended in tears, but usually in laughter...There was a warm and encouraging environment at home. My self-loathing and neuroticism are not because of my upbringing

You hit the nail 100% on what I thought of that character and the show, I immediately disliked it and hated everyone who sung its praise. I had a feeling it was probably written by a Hollywood kike but after reading your short summary of it made me check the Early Life section of its creator.

Everystein, Singleburg, Timeowitz etc...

There was a thread that had some guy who loved drawing anthro cars. He drew details of car penises, car wombs, how they give birth and went into autistic details about how cars would realistically work in the world of Fallout. In fact he actually has an account and interacted with users on this site.
Although he's been gone since that thread was ancient.
double edit: There's a chance you might also be thinking of artist and author Miranda Leek, who I don't think has an account nor a thread here, but she (actual woman not a troon) was obsessed with rollercoasters and did much the same thing in regards to getting super autistic about anatomy and birth just with carnival rides instead of cars. She's written a couple of books, notably "Twisted" which is about an evil rollercoaster or something?
Jubilee style click bait debate show where they team up to defeat 500 evolutionary psychologists.
I assumed it was like any other media where it's a modern city with mixed species people walking about, it's just not touched on. Bojack Horseman, Ugly Americans, fucking Dragon Ball....the animal people are just kind of there and people don't really think super hard about it.
The human-animal dynamics in Bojack completely nuked the show for me. In Ugly Americans, the magical creatures are immigrants to New York who need help integrating. I actually liked the show and I thought that premise was clever. In DragonBall they're space aliens, or Zodiac animal references, and it makes sense within the context of the show (wacky martial arts epic in space). In Bojack, some characters are human and some are animals for no reason. Occasionally there will be a gag about a character's animal traits, but it's not like Zootopia or Robin Hood, where those traits kind of inform the character, so it just feels very random and pointless. It's not like the human characters are there to provide the straight-man role to the colorful animal characters. Every character is effectively a human. There's no reason for some of them to be animals. The fact that they put sex and romance subplots in the show and treated them very seriously just made it too fucking weird for me. Stuff that's supernatural and magical, like Ugly Americans, or very light-hearted and silly, like DragonBall, can get away with it due to the tone, but having telenovela drama plots about fertility, abortion, and wanting to have kids when it's a human dating a dog just grossed me out.

If you ask me, it's definitely something along the lines of the artstyle being far too "bitmoji" and somewhere on the rising curve of the uncanny valley, and generally tard-repellent in it's being so. All of the shows, movies, etc. that are adored by furfags are often built on the framework of having a cutesy, low-realism artstyle that's far easier to fetishise

Also, there are some furries who are into Bojack Horseman, it's sort of inevitable with anything that has anthro characters, no matter how they're drawn or animated. It's just nowhere near as prolific as the normie audience that likes the show. So it goes.
I think the fact that none of the anthropomorphic characters have tails also helps in this regard. You don't hear as much about Blacksad (despite it being, well, actually pretty good) either even though the art style is a bit more stylized, and very very few of its characters have tails either.

Do you think Diane put peanut butter in her genitals for Mr peanutbutter's attention.

kill me.
I have never seen Bojck Horseman (nor have any interest to) but I've always assumed Mr. Peanutbutter was named after peanut butter because of that exact islamic behavior. I don't care enough to look it up so I'll just go ahead and assume my assumption is correct

Bojack is forgotten entirely because every aspect of the character is ugly.
Furries that people loved were actually inspiring characters. Again the original furry crushes were Robin Hood. Lola Bunny. Miss Brisby. Sally Acorn. Fox McCloud. And Gadget. All of which have appeal as being leaders, have upstanding moral character, are appealing to look at, and having an appealing personality. A character doesn't need to have all 4. But they have to have at least 1. Bojack has none. A good way to say this is, furries originally are moral allegories for kids like superheroes. As such, like a superhero a main furry character should appeal to social ideals. Being athletic is an ideal because it is healthy to be athletic. Being a leader is an ideal because it means you can push others forward with you. Being in good moral character is an ideal because it means you'll put the needs of people first. And being fun to be around is an ideal because it means more people will listen to you.

Not all characters have to have all 4 traits. But all main characters should have at least 1. Bojack being a terrible ugly lame hasbeen loser makes him unappealing in all metrics. That's fine for side characters. But he's the main guy.

It's never confirmed or denied or explained at all in the show, but c'mon. It's like in Fallout 4 when you first meet the dog at the Red Rocket gas station. We know what they're doing and it's not as clever as they think.

Also, I liked Bojack Horseman to a point, but the episodes got so depressing and dour that it's like "why the fuck am I watching this sad horse guy eulogize his abusive mother for 30 fucking minutes with no cuts?" and then you watch Smiling Friends instead.

Antifatard virtue signals as someone helping musicians purely to rob them all while beating his wife? You'd think when record companies are already known to be the shadiest pieces of garbage on the planet that people would figure out combining far left terrorist thugs who virtue signal while assaulting their wives and furries was not a good idea. But it happened multiple times? Who tf falls for this [peck] multiple times in a row? And why is one of the schmucks Sean Chiplock?
To the woke, virtue signalling is the most importan thing.

Oddly, I found him suspicious when he was being very particular wit his name... manily getting hangups over being called 'Mr Chiplock'?

Maybe this is really stretching the definition of drama and i'm just being dum, but it seems like so much of the milk is locked behind invite-only discords and God knows what else that I am not nearly invested enough in to delve into, so this is the best I can do.

Anyway, FA decided to do a banner for International Women's Day (the banners have an associated journal entry from staff, too, from what I gather.) Very little comments of note, though I did get a kick out of lgbt/womens allies trying to out-virtue signal each other about how much they think women and lgbt's are valid

It's never too late to start now.:feels:🚙
Cars all have fake exhaust tips now, not even connected to anything, just a piece of plastic on the bumper. Tough times for car fuckers and electric cars ain't giving them any better prospects

I believe car fuckers are the ones still trying to make hydrogen cars a thing. A car fucking cabal salivating at the thought of a tailpipe that gets wet by itself, lobbying with all their might. That's a scary thought

Furries got what they wanted, they got represented in The Pitt

Though I'm surprised the furry fandom didn't bitch about the treatment for the furry in show was to get gassed (as they all should if I might add)

That's not drama, that's a mod actually doing his job for a change. If the literally second thought after "wohoo women" is "I think they should let their tiddies out in public" I would lock the thread too.
