The only reason I used it is because I legitimately didn't know his dead name, as I haven't given a thought about him outside of the numerous times he's interfered with this community.

The way this story was related to me, I think this part was slightly funnier: Elliot was employed by Google and used his company email address for his personal vendetta, implying that it's official communication from Google. He was eventually fired from Google and blames the forum for it.
If this story is true, it shows that our opponent, while vitriolic and dedicated, is also extremely stupid and prone to making things worse for himself due to complete lack of foresight.

Indeed, that's because our system is anarcho-tyrannical: you can do whatever you want, whether or not they actually come for you is up in the air though, I reckon I'm rather far down enough the list to be safe enough. MI6 is for abroad btw, MI5 is the domestic version, FBI/CIA except ours have their origin in proper military organisations, and amusingly despite not being the one with "secret" in the name MI5 is a lot more secretive.

Have you ever read the book 1984? What strikes me most about it is the Britishness of it all, it's something foreigners just don't get because the very substance of the story is how very English everything is, from the way the the old man in the pub is a pleb by every definition of the word (we've all known someone just like him), to how silent impulses to resist are never followed through on (things might have been very different if Winston's wife took a tumble down that quarry). Most of all in how people respond to authority: "it's finally happened, don't resist". They both know they're doomed, but even then, when they know there's nothing they can do but whatever they do do won't make any difference anyway... They still do nothing, that's the real moral lesson of Winston's fate: how people in the end choose to lay down for the boot.

My main impression of the story is how much contempt I have for those who choose to do nothing; Winston had the chance to punch a Thought Police officer in the face but didn't, fuck him, he deserves to choke on Victory Gin for it. If they come for me I'm punching them in the face, throwing a few £££ :null:'s way might not be going full V for Vendetta but it's a definitive choice to let them know I don't care, if that bothers them? Tough shit, I'll make a mess of it, perhaps if enough people do this maybe things might not seem so grim, and if not I'll still have the satisfaction of having done something, either way it's worth it.
You too can enjoy this satisfaction, stand and be counted.

Consider the fact that Elliot is a known abuser, likely a sociopath, and a self admitted sexual predator with his "consent accident." The fact that he hasn't been able to browbeat his victim into coming out with a statement exonerating Elliot of all crimes means that despite any attempts at manipulating his victim into doing so, the victim has steadfastly refused to give No Dong Elliot Fong anything to work with.

And you know he tried.

Looking at the GSG, I see two messages that really caught my eye. One is $10 from someone who said they recently suffered a bereavement and is struggling with car issues and said they gave what they can. It honestly reminded me of the parable of the widow and the pharisees. That person has given when it's hard to give and I really respect that. I am not rich but I will give the same amount that they gave every month in a regular payment because how can I do less than that?

The other message that really caught my eye was some madman who gave $3000. I wont and cannot match that but that too is generous, whoever they are. Bless both of these donors for their gifts.

and i have forgotten that cia exists and i thought that fbi was for abroad stuff not domestic 🤪
