I'm starting to think this war isn't going to end the way orange nigger and king kike are expecting. As smashed up as Iran is getting, there seems to be no indication the Islamic regime is willing to surrender. Whenever sandniggers think Allah is on their side they are willing to martyr themselves and their people no matter how bleak things are. They are publicly stating that any civilian indicating support for the end of the republic will be killed and their families too, which will stop any potential internal regime change because not many people want to risk their lives when it's easier to just leave for another country.

All the surrounding states that are getting missiles and drones launched at them, fucking up their oil revenues, at least so far seem unwilling to commit their own forces or retaliate against Iran. Again is this because they are fellow Muslims I don't know, or maybe it's because they don't actually have much in the way of military force? Either way, if the US hope to be able to pull out of the area at some point there is going to have to be more than just Israel as a deterrent for Iran/Hezbollah/Hamas to just start shit again. Cue Trump stood in front of a Mission Accomplished banner like Bush.

As much as Trump is stating oil is going to drop bigly, I don't see why that will be the case. Even the threat of one active missile site is enough for ship insurance to eat into the profit margin of any cargo, which needs to be recouped somehow. Strategic oil reserves aren't enough to change anything. Pulling more oil out of Venezuela is going to take time and money so that won't offset it either.

Anything can change I guess, but Trump better hope what he is saying is going to happen because a new forever war and higher gas prices is going to fuck him at the midterms.

It's nice of Iran to still be restraining themselves. If they wanted to, they could easily release super-secret mega-drones.

Ask me how I know you haven't been keeping up with Iran's internal political situation until just last week.

Place your bets lads, will it not ever actually happen, will it be AI, will it be a body double?
They said the same thing about the Khameini on the first day of the war. He was going to be making a statement soon all while they knew he was dead. This is not going to happen and they will say it's because of "security concerns".

He's grooming his daughter (she's under age, calm down boys) to replacement him instead of his sister so when he dies of being fat there'll be a civil war to decide which woman will run Best Korea. North Korea is stable for now and unlikely to try anything. China doesn't want them chimping out and Rocket Boy has seen what we did in Venezuela and Iran and knows he's in even worse shape.
yeah I get the impression DPRK is happy to keep to itself
do they even supply meth anymore? I think I recall that was an international thing they were doing pre-coof at least?
What stage of the war is "It remains possible that we might kill one of your guys before you destroy our whole country"?
there's probably a hadith about it

This is the same guy who posted (or a staffer using his account posted) that an escort was done a few days ago, only to quickly delete it.
Not sure why he would have that post just sitting in his drafts waiting to publish when he knew it likely wouldn't be accomplished for several weeks, but whatever.

Because we moved six missile launchers to a hot conflict going on right now instead of leaving them to collect dust in a country that's currently at peace over fears of a hypothetical future attack?

That seems a bit pessimistic.
The South Korean govt made it clear they were not happy about this, they had a whole diplomatic incident with China when these were first put in. They lost billions from the economic fallout from the Chinese bitching. Will they have to deal with that again after this iran war is over and the US tries to out them back?

based on information they have received, that these are associated with the ""Swedish"" criminal network Foxtrot that recruits people to commit crimes
what i fuckin tell you
my badass racism wins again

They're going to nail these guys to the wall. In Norwegian prison, the worst offenders are only allowed 7 hours of video games per day and aren't allowed to leave the prison without telling someone. I'm not sure how that's not a human rights violation

Imagine being Khamenei Jr. right now, you were just chillin in your compound or some shit, enjoying life as the son of a head of state, them BAM, you, your father, and some of your family get bombed to shit, you survived but severely wounded, while you are trying to recover, you just found out you're the next Ayatollah and you're basically now a the top marked man of the US and Israeli military apparatus.
Are you pitching an HBO series to me right now?

If not, we need to write up a spec script before someone else beats us to the punch.

Code:
INT. RECOVERY ROOM - MINISTRY HOSPITAL - DAWN

A thin ribbon of morning light crawls across a sterile room. Monitors tick.
A bouquet wilts in a government-issue vase like it’s been waiting too long.

KHAMENEI JR., early 50s, elegant even unconscious, lies rigid beneath a sheet.
A faint scar disappears into his hairline.

At his bedside: MARIAM QADRI (40s), Chief of Staff — crisp suit, sleepless eyes,
a notebook open like a shield.

Across the room, DR. NASSER (50s) adjusts an IV, careful not to look political.

The monitor BEEPS, changes rhythm.

KHAMENEI JR.’s fingers twitch. Once. Again.

Mariam is on her feet before the doctor can speak.

                         DR. NASSER
              Supreme Leader— I mean—

Mariam shoots him a look: Not yet.

KHAMENEI JR.’s eyes open. Not wide. Not cinematic. Just… confused.

His gaze drifts, lands on Mariam’s face as if he’s reading a headline.

                         KHAMENEI JR.
                   (hoarse)
              Water.

Mariam reaches for a cup with a straw, hands steady only by practice.

                         MARIAM
              Small sips. Your throat will—
              Welcome back.

He drinks. Winces. Tries to speak again, stops. Studies the room.

                         KHAMENEI JR.
              Where is my father?

A beat. The room seems to get smaller around the question.

Dr. Nasser suddenly finds the floor fascinating.

Mariam sits, slower than before. She chooses her words like they’re fragile glass.

                         MARIAM
There was an airstrike on the
              Supreme Leaders' Residence.

KHAMENEI JR. blinks, processing. He swallows pain.

KHAMENEI JR.
Injured?

Mariam holds his gaze.

MARIAM
Killed.

The monitor’s tempo quickens. KHAMENEI JR. inhales too sharply, as if the air
itself has become unfamiliar.

KHAMENEI JR.
(a whisper)
No.

Mariam does not correct him. She lets the word exist.

KHAMENEI JR.’s eyes shine but do not spill.

KHAMENEI JR.
How long?

DR. NASSER
Eleven days since you were brought
in. Four since you woke briefly.
You didn’t… stay with us.

KHAMENEI JR. tries to lift himself. His body refuses. Humiliation flashes.

KHAMENEI JR.
My mother?

MARIAM
She’s in the old city. Protected.

A pause— then, carefully:

MARIAM (CONT'D)
The Council has been convening
without you.

KHAMENEI JR. turns his head, slow, like each degree costs him.

KHAMENEI JR.
Without me.

MARIAM
They called it “continuity.”

He looks at her now with something sharper than grief: recognition.

KHAMENEI JR.
Who is chairing?

Mariam’s answer comes too quickly. Too prepared.

MARIAM
Deputy Premier Jalil.

KHAMENEI JR. closes his eyes. Not in defeat— in calculation.

KHAMENEI JR.
Jalil always wanted the title
without the burden.

Mariam allows herself one breath of honesty.

MARIAM
He wants the title because he thinks
the burden will crush you.

KHAMENEI JR. opens his eyes again. A new stillness settles in him.

KHAMENEI JR.
And you?

MARIAM
I want a government that survives
the week. I want hospitals that
don’t run out of anesthesia.
I want ministers who stop stealing
the diesel and blaming the weather.

A faint, involuntary laugh catches in his throat — immediately becomes a cough.

Dr. Nasser steps in, professional.

DR. NASSER
You need rest. No stress—

KHAMENEI JR.
(to Mariam)
Bring me a mirror.

Dr. Nasser hesitates: This is not medical.

Mariam stands. She finds a small mirror in her bag — the kind used for checking
collars before cameras.

She holds it up.

KHAMENEI JR. looks at himself: the pallor, the bandage line, the eyes that
still belong to a son.

He sets the mirror down with a trembling hand.

KHAMENEI JR. (CONT'D)
My father is dead.

Mariam nods.

KHAMENEI JR. (CONT'D)
And they’re meeting without me.

Another nod. This one contains an entire briefing.

He stares at the ceiling, as if it’s a map he’s trying to memorize.

KHAMENEI JR. (CONT'D)
What do they call me right now?

Mariam’s voice softens, despite herself.

MARIAM
“The Heir.”
(beat)
They say it like it’s an insult.

KHAMENEI JR. swallows. His jaw firms.

KHAMENEI JR.
Then we change the language.

He tries again to sit up. Fails. His frustration blooms— then he reins it in.

KHAMENEI JR. (CONT'D)
I want the legal file. Succession.
Emergency powers. The Council’s
minutes. The budget.

Dr. Nasser opens his mouth— Mariam raises a hand: Let him.

MARIAM
I can bring them. But—

KHAMENEI JR.
But what?

Mariam finally reveals the thing she’s been holding back.

MARIAM
You were declared “unfit” for
public view while unconscious.
To reverse that, we need signatures.
People who will demand concessions.

KHAMENEI JR. looks at her, understanding bureaucracy as a battlefield of pens.

KHAMENEI JR.
Who holds the paper?

MARIAM
Jalil. The Speaker. The Chief Judge.
And the heads of Security.

KHAMENEI JR. exhales. This time, controlled.

KHAMENEI JR.
Then we start with the judge.

Mariam’s eyebrows lift — impressed against her will.

MARIAM
The judge despises your family.

KHAMENEI JR.
Good.
(beat)
People who despise you are honest
about the price.

Mariam leans forward, notebook ready.

MARIAM
What are you willing to give?

KHAMENEI JR. looks away from her to the wilting bouquet.

KHAMENEI JR.
Nothing that makes my father’s death
mean nothing.

A long silence. In it, grief becomes policy.

MARIAM
Then we should move quickly.
Before they pick a new meaning
for his death.

KHAMENEI JR. nods, once.

KHAMENEI JR.
Get me out of this bed.

Dr. Nasser finally steps between them.

DR. NASSER
You can’t walk—

KHAMENEI JR.
(quiet, lethal calm)
I didn’t ask if I could.

Mariam closes her notebook.

MARIAM
I’ll assemble the file. And I’ll
call the judge’s clerk.
(beat)
Welcome back, sir.

KHAMENEI JR. watches her go, the door clicking shut behind her.

He is alone now, with machines and morning light.

He turns his head toward the window— toward a capital that has already begun
governing without him.

The monitor keeps time.

FADE OUT.

I know the Iranian conflict is almost 2 weeks in now, but why are some people dooming at this stage? USA casualties haven't even entered two digits yet as far as I read (eight). Still terrible to have death but compared to the 2k+ Iran is dealing with? Yeah.

The other thing people in the thread have talked about is the anger of the Iranian people and the possible arming of an uprising with a regime change. While I don't know how much crap the USA and Israel are moving to them or if it will end up a failure, there's still time. The only thing the USA seems to be suffering from is oil prices, cultural memory of other middle eastern wars, and reputation in the countries that want to stay passive to things (like Canada). Am I missing something? Why we dooming? We just got here, it's day 12.

An UAE Air Force helicopter shot down an Iranian Shahed-136 drone approaching Dubai early this morning.

Still no speech from the Cardboard Ayatollah.
