Which necessitates further military action, prompting the regime to keep striking back. The only hope seems to be for the Iranian people to rise up and topple the regime. That's a maybe at best and history shows that a people under attack by outside forces are pushed closer together in face of this danger. Double tapping a school as an opener and covering downtown Teheran in poisonous oil smok were probably not helpful moves in winning over the Iranian people to the outside power. Since the people are only supposed to rebel once the air strikes stop, the regime might very well be able to quell the uprisings. They are probably working hard on it right now.
