That's cool. So would I need to watch the original Lupin III, or is this able to be a stand-alone? I've been thinking on getting around to the Lupin franchise for a while now, I just don't exactly know where to start outside of the original 70s anime (or if the manga's available, that too).
This is pretty much a standalone. You can watch it and you don't need to have seen anything else in the Lupin franchise. (There are people who have only ever seen this and have never seen any other Lupin-related material.)
