The Round Top mine in Texas had well over 30,000 tons last I looked up these Rare Earth Minerals. There's other deposits in Montana, and Utah, among several other locations that include high levels of gallium among Aluminum ore deposits.
China just sells it for cheap so nobody bothers to mine it. Same for most REMs; they cornered the market not because nobody has REMs to mine but by selling it as cheap as possible (maybe below cost). Same way they cornered the solar panel market.
