What I don't understand is these people all support Ukraine, yet they support Iran despite Iran being allies with Russia and directly aiding with the killing of Ukrainians.
So, as someone on the right with pro-Ukraine (or rather just strongly anti-Russian) views and the misfortune of sharing the same surface level position of some bleeding heart shitlibs, I'll give my input:
1)
Russia is not seen as part of a broader "third world" alliance/faction, rather Russia is seen as evil white supremacist fascists.
In this vain, the Iranian-Russian connection is often downplayed - attacking Iran is not viewed as attacking a member of the Russian axis, it's seen as attacking some unrelated oppressed brown muslin country in a vacuum.
2) Somewhat related, and admittedly more applied to Venezuela than Iran, but basically that
Trump breaking 'international law' benefits Putin. In this, basically Trump is helping create a world order where "bully nations" can just do whatever and international norms won't restrain them.
3) It's seen as a "distraction". Trump's attention to the ME is "distracting" US and NATO away from Ukraine.
4) Again more Venezuela than Iran, but basically it's "muh secret deal" where Trump and Putin allegedly made some schizo backroom deal where Trump just removes Putins allies in exchange for backstabbing Ukraine.
Keep in mind I think these are fake and gay cope excuses, but these are what I've seen.
allow me to explain it
1. they don't even know that in the majority of cases.
2. they do not care, as long as it means supporting whatever they believe orange man doesn't support.
Also this.
A lot of liberal thought can be explained by this
