I also want to point out again:
There is no Kurdish leader. There are just a bunch of bunch of kurdish groups, usually commies, and thye don't all get along or agree on all points.
The closest thing to a Kurdish supreme leader is one of the PKK's founders (PKK is, IIRC, the largest Kurdish group an is based in Turkey) and he's been in solitary confinement on some island prison for like 2 decades. The last time he communicated with the world was when Syria was collapsing Turkey had him send a message out to the Kurds telling them to support AJ's regime.

So Trump have asked other Kurds about invading Iran, or other Kurdish groups may have decided on their own initiative "Fuck it, we gonna ball" seeing this as an opportunity to make Kurdistan a thing.
