I think most of the regulars in this thread know that I hate communists and communism with a passion, but I have read all of Marx's writings and have owned several of his books and essays at different points in my life. I encourage people to read what Marx actually wrote. It really goes to show how stupid these people think the rest of us are that simply reading Mein Kampf can turn people into Nazis. When I first read Mein Kampf, as well as a wide assortment of Nazi literature, my immediate response was shock that anyone took those lunatics seriously.
Herrara isn't even close to being a Nazi and Mein Kampf is good as a historical curiosity but anyone who even reads a few pages of the book will find out for themselves that Hitler wasn't exactly the best writer.
Main kampf is the same type of book as anything Marx wrote, but it IS funny when people pretend Das Kapital is about economics

They think that because it didn't take much to turn those people into commies, and it really wouldn't take that much effort to make Nazis either. Take a frustrated individual who has very little exposure to politics and are largely a blank slate. The first person they see "telling it like it is" and explaining how the world works in a way that makes somewhat sense is going to have a massive influence on them. Have some larger idealogy aligned community they can join and boom, they are now down the the alt right/ctl left pipeline.

No, it's shows how stupid THEY are in thinking that reading a single book can turn people into Nazis. the mythology they have built in their circles around Mein Kampf is insane. They think that book is so powerful that by opening it the pages start flipping like the fucking the necronomicon, your eyes glow as you levitate off the floor and *poof* now you're a Nazi, armband and everything. I exaggerated a bit but they really act like it's a book of racist dark arts that needs to be forgotten by history and definitely not just a poorly written book by the evil mustache man.
