As a Brit, it was harsh, not being able to access KF last year, I missed out on so much. Some longtime observers of the Patrick S Tomlinson phenomenon may remember one my first posts on KF, when I discovered an early manga which features an exact double of our favourite pig:
A year or two ago, I had only visited the Pat Files on KF occasionally...
I was, at the time, reading an old manga from 1990 called "Demon Academy", and could not help but think there was something familiar about the character of the boxing club vice-captain - a confirmed bully and coward who would lift his hand to strike a girl... I was re-reading this fine manga last night, and it all made sense:
It's from "Demon Academy" (Makai Gakuenn), the Pat clone is a nasty big swine who hits girls, bullies a boy he's supposed to be training (and he probably hates kittens and hates baby Jesus too, just like Pat).
The scanlation of "Demon Academy" is a labour of love, and there wasn't a lot of episodes back then. Here's some new images, and at least one them has potential for making an exploitable template (not trying to force any new memes here, but looking at the word balloons and the relevant pictures, they are begging to be edited).
I don't know if I have formatted these correctly, I never posted images that often, and I've had a lengthy absence, so please accept my apologies in advance to the moderators if have erred.
