I reckon Padraig McFatlinson, his Celtic alter-ego, kidnapped him and ground him up into haggis.

There's also the possibility that he got arrested. Cops in the UK are very on edge right now, and a drunk American making a scene in the airport would get tossed into the cells for a few hours before being chucked on the first flight home. That would explain why he missed his panel, said he had "travel problems", then went dark. People getting arrested for being too drunk in Glasgow is not exactly rare so it wouldn't make the news or anything.

Its questionable if he even got on the plane to begin with. Him being both a shameless publicity whore along with an autistic selfie addict automatically raises my non-existent eyebrows at the sheer lack of pig appearances on camera (his own or others') or smug xeeting about how he is the belle of the worldcon ball, however him being actively banned/disinvited or facing some other amusing roadblock is still entirely speculative until either the fat faggot sings or we get a reputable source spilling the beans

You're right. The fact that there's a picture of Paul Pedo but not Fatrick at the con is pretty suspicious.

A year or two ago, I had only visited the Pat Files on KF occasionally...
I was, at the time, reading an old manga from 1990 called "Demon Academy", and could not help but think there was something familiar about the character of the boxing club vice-captain - a confirmed bully and coward who would lift his hand to strike a girl... I was re-reading this fine manga last night, and it all made sense:

i think you're all touchingly optimistic (as befits a CHILD) about pat's silence and i stand ready to receive my negrates if there turns out to be some funny secret he's been hiding.

while i agree it looks like narc injury behavior, he's ultimately so self-righteous that if anyone had said or done something to keep him from of the con i think he'd blow up about it, not go radio silent.
 
I just find it strange if he really is at the con that there wasn't at least one dedicated Pat scholar in the area who would attend to get a photo of the non-existent line at his signing. We have people in the Jim Sterling thread willing to attend his shitty wrestling events that boast crowds of a dozen people, and Pat has a way bigger hate-following than that fat troon.

most if not all of the flights between Bongland and Burgerland are handled at London Heathrow, so it's almost certain he'd have had to go there first

if so, another possibility for his absence at the con is that he got lost in the terminal and missed his connecting flight (quite possible, as Heathrow terminal 5 is enormous) and/or that he tried to get to the con by hiring a car, severely underestimated the distance and travel time between London and Glasgow, and had to stay overnight somewhere in between
