Major warning sign for Trumps economy.

Jobs are not increasing, they are loosing. Even if we discount the illegal jobs losses, the vibes, which are what many people go off of nowadays, are bleak. Recruiting is an AI war with college graduates and job seeking individuals unable to get hired. Januarys job gains were only in welfare sectors and healthcare aids for dying boomers. Thats not an economic boom, thats signs of a large downturn.

This can no longer be brushed away by Biden's abysmal performance. There have been multiple opportunities from Trump to improve the situation such as shutting down ALL visas, going to war with offshoring white collar jobs, restricting AI usage, but none of it is the admins focus lately. Too much myopic gazing at the stock market and claiming 'mission accomplished'. While the war with Iran is a net positive, voters are not going to accept the admins distracted priority on even the hint of nation building or foreign policy sidequests anymore.

You can argue its because of the filibuster but you shouldn't count on your entire term on congress cooperation. New avenues to achieve objectives need to be discovered. To do otherwise is a failure of governance.

The weak economy is going to be even worse when he tries to defend tariffs as popular sentiment slides. Cost of living is still rising and people growing impatient with Trumps slow recovery, myself included. If cost of living went down or the labor market improved, this wouldn't be as much of an issues, but the administrations ignorance on the economy means democrats will have a much easier time convincing voters to vote blue in the midterms.

The lights are flashing *DANGER DANGER, PULL UP* and no one is listening.

Genuinely insane how hard Trump's momentum has crashed
>Iran war is still ongoing like everyone feared
>Trump has openly stated he wants Iranian refugees to seek asylum in America
>Economy is still collapsing
>US is continuing to lose jobs
>WH is posting unfunny memes on social media instead of doing anything constructive
>Digital ID is all but a foregone conclusion thanks to the KIDS Act
>The invasion of Cuba is likely to go about as bad as Iran

The midterms are fucked.
we are HEMORGAGING jobs, the only somewhat reliable sectors of growth were government and healthcare, BOTH posted net job losses in the tens of thousands this month.

it cant be overstated that we are LOSING tens of thousands of high paying jobs every single month and only a handful of crap low paying jobs are added.

Im not sure if Trump even GIVES a shit about the economy as long as the stock market is going up

unemployment at 4.4% and rising and you know they are already lying about the number

only jobs added are being a boomers man servant

Your reporting has been more accurate than this thread is comfortable with. I wouldn't be surprised if Trump leads us into another Great Depression.

Get ready for a permanent Democrat trifecta after 2028, kiwis. That is, if you don't try to sweep this information under the rug first.

Government jobs going down are good since they’re mostly sinecures for blacks, this is also why their unemployment rate jumped up. Healthcare, like I said, is due to strikes. I would assume the rest is due to the extremely heavy storms early last month. If March also posts shitty numbers then I’m probably wrong, but I feel like this is just a perfect storm of bad (but transitory) events in February.

ETA:
Data shows foreign born workers have lost 519,000 jobs over the last year, while native born workers have gained 128k jobs.

Additionally, federal government employment decreased by 10K in February, and is down by 330K, or 11%, since reaching a peak in October 2024.

Weird how they didn't do this when the AI-generated ICE recruitment video with Pokémon characters went viral.
Nobody cared, nobody does now too. Sravanthi Dev is at ''pokemon international'' ie, he's a nobody. he has no power, he has no izzat. He's just a retarded jeet running his mouth. The decision are taken in japan and the rest mostly just do marketing and publishing work. I wouldn't be surprised if that jeet actually tries anything that the big hat in japan would slap his shit, like nintendo did with treehouse.

Packs must be htting a nerve, usually you guys have good natured jokes but just wishing he fell of a cliff posting?

It would be REALLY funny if China took Taiwan rn while we have both feet in separate turds

You don't understand. We need hundreds of thousands of foreign students or the colleges and universities will not be able to sustain themselves. We need over 10,000,000 foreigners* working here or our economy will collapse.

The Great Depression 2: Electric Boogaloo has been building up for the past 20+ years, even before government intervened to prevent the house pricing collapse of 2008 from starting it. It would be a miracle of Trump prevents it, but nobody is under any illusions that the Democrats won't make it worse. And a financial collapse gives Trump the excuse needed to cut off all corruption spending that DOGE wasn't able to touch, which would neuter the liberals attempts to "fortify" future elections
If GD2 hits then liberal bughives will implode and anyone wanting more illegals will be robbed or killed and be unable to vote for that again.

They can’t. Too much of their oil comes from the Strait of Hormuz.
its complicated but basically thats an overblown issue, there are 3 separate points that china can hook up via overland piepline routes if they want to, over seas has just been cheaper considering the volume they consume

A lot of people from different sectors are saying the same thing. it seems to me like trump decided the conflict would solve two problems at once, though I do personally anticipate being sucked into a long term conflict on behalf of israel. Its not like if things get dicey for israel america is going to say "good luck with that" and bail. I just hope all service eligible kiwis got their neurodivergence diagnosed to keep our most precious resource (autism) safe
At this point, every single regional player is ready to start thumping Iran. If things go bad for Israel, there's a whole panoply of ME countries who will jump in to help lift.

Every administration will let it get worse hoping they're not the one left holding the bag. This isn't even unique to the US, I think the US is literally banking on other countries crashing sooner so that the US can leverage this. Cope either way, eventually something has got to give.

If it happens under Trump I doubt it will allow him to fix federal issues, Congress will not be too bothered by a depression and can continue their weekly flights back home.

every single "regional player" has less military equipment than israel and is second hand cold war garbage for either us or the soviets, none of the gulf states have hardly any military other than the Saudis and thats all on paper.

Turkey is a Nato memeber, not going to happen and azerbajain? hold on let me google their military size, ahh yes, 8 people, I thought they got a new guy last year.

Without boots on the ground iran just has to wait in their mountains until we go away

There are roughly 235,000 Chinese students here right now. Two years ago, there were 262,000. We’ll likely see the decline accelerate as more pathways get closed off and 2027 approaches.

Unfortunately, the Indian student rate has only declined by roughly 2,000. I would assume that that they are exchanging larger universities (who are beginning to crack down on international students) for diploma mills. Trump should get on this.
