This has been the bread and butter of the media during Trump. Trump and those around him will generally always not give specific answers in order to tip their hand or take options off the table with the mindset of "you don't tell your opponent that you're limiting your options"

The Media uses this to fill in that gap where they won't answer, with whatever convenient option to say "look see he won't say they won't do this, that means that's what's happening"

This is why i'm not convinced the war will last a month. We have seen how sirens in Tel Aviv decreased over three days. If it goes on like this, we may be out in a week.

Also GCC countries are wasting valuable interceptors on shooting down drones, something that fighter jets can do very easily. Instead of using their fighter jets for the purpose they were made for the GCC countries prefer to shoot interceptors and it's not clear why.
