Sigh, no Autumn, people are not calling your characters a fetish just vecause they don't cover their fat bodies. The problem about your OCs and art is that it clearly has a focus only in the fact that theyre fat """black""" and """trans""". Your characters have no personality, they do nothing to show them as normal people like anybody else, they just pose floating in a void background. They only exist to display their fat bodies, nothing else.I was rereading this thread lately and this drawing very similar to the pictures she used to draw in puppychan era. Her proportions are shit in every drawing but this is such downgrade to twitter 2020-21 time to me oh god.
Find ten differences guys!
You can definetly make art of fat black trans characters without looking purely fetishistic.
I mean i know this is an obvious example but look at hilda pin-up artworks by Duane Bryers.
Yes, she may be white, but i don't think it would be any diferent if you gave her dreadlocks and made her skin darker. Other than that is not diferent from what Autumn does, Hilda is fat and mostly wesring a bikini, and yet the poses and composition show so much about her personality without needing text and arrows stating what she is thinking.
Autumn obviously has less artistic and storytelling skills than Bryers and if you suggested this to her she will make a tumblr post rantimg about how racist I am for compairing her art to the art made by a straight white cisgender man, but in an ideal timeline where Autumn is open to criticism and improvement maybe we could have a He/Him black coded furry Hilda that would be more likeable than current Salem or Hitch
