The problem about your OCs and art is that it clearly has a focus only in the fact that theyre fat """black""" and """trans""". Your characters have no personality, they do nothing to show them as normal people like anybody else, they just pose floating in a void background. They only exist to display their fat bodies, nothing else.

You can definetly make art of fat black trans characters without looking purely fetishistic.

I took the part where Wis talks about "Publicly chasers are warriors for trans women, behind closed doors though..." as a very Autumn thing. She is very VERY, dis-proportionally so, open about her backing and love of trans women. She constantly talks about trans women and their woes or how hot they all are significantly more than anything else (besides herself lol.)
Also Wis, as far as I can remember, has never backed down from bad mouthing Sawyer or Luluyam. Being very open about who he's talking about. It seems now he's hesitant because of how willing Autumn's audience is willing to throw themselves in front of a bullet for her.

I agree, the fetishism comes from them having no point outside of looking pretty and fat. I think another example is Rebecca Sugar's sketches of Rose Quartz.

Rose is fat and clearly supposed to look desirable here, but it doesn't feel fetishy cause even if you haven't watched Steven Universe, you can tell the character has a personality outside of being big. Autumn's characters feel very stiff and lifeless, cardboard stands.

Honestly I'd still say Pup's art now is a lot better from 2020. Like, it was literally a bunch of random lines shaped into shitty anatomy. Their art now is like, a weird mix between the the old good art and the bad old art. It is definitely degrading like before, but I still think the detail and anatomy on it is mostly decent. I don't even like or hate Pup's art, but I feel like most of the hate is nitpicking.


The 2019 and 2022 art were a lot better though, 2019 had a nice detailed charm to it, and 2022 had a cute soft cartoon style to it, the fact that Pup improved in such a short amount of time made it even more impressive too.
