My best guess is they aren't there yet. or at least weren't there when the attack was ordered. It's hard to find the source in a fast thread but it sounded like SOCOM was training to raid the compound but the timeline for the mission moved up significantly due to the opportunity window to kill Khamenei and many of his staff. They might not even need them now considering how successful the bombing campaign appears to be. Maybe they can go hunting for the remaining shot callers for the splintered military battalions, but I'd assume most of that could be handled from the air. All the hard, fortified targets are already dead.
