Yeah that is not that surprising that they're also that cowardly despite their spazzing out.

Country full of billionaires who are similarly minded to you and will definitely obliterate you.
I think people often forget that just because they are both Arabs and Muslims doesn't mean they can't hate each other. Tribal rivalry doesn't stop just because you share a couple of beliefs. Look at the Somalis who brought their tribal shit to Minnesota

Russia has been surprisingly quiet about it. But their slavic nigger neck must be bending their heads down. Hasn't Iran been supplying them with missiles and drones through this war. Because low IQ slavs can't produce that stuff themselves.
To be fair if anything this has proven Russians are incompetent subhumans, they can't even take Ukraine and look at what the US has been doing and Russia thinks it's a peer military power.

CENTCOM confirms missiles fired at the Lincoln... they all missed

Iran wants to deescalate. Trump says he will talk to them, doesn't say he will stop bombing to talk to them

Netanyajoo says that's nice bro but we're gonna bomb Iran even harder in the coming days

btw Iran was selling missiles and drones to Russia in the early days of the Total Hohol Death War... but Russia bought a license and has been building Shaheds in its own factories for ~3 years, and bumped up its own missile production. So the ACKing of Iranian missile and drone factories will likely have negligible impact on Russia's missile and drone stockpiles/production

Sorry for the derail, thread tax from James Woods
Potomac Pravda never saw an enemy of America they didn't gush like a geyser over.

They and the odious boomers who still read it radicalized me further to the Right than Trump, Fox News, 4chan, KF, et al combined could ever hope.

How big is the Iranian navy even. Did we just sink like 1/3rd of it lmao
Iran has two navies - the Iranian Navy, and the IRGC Navy.

The latter mostly consists of about 100 small patrol boats (think glorified Somali pirate boats, useful in theory for fast attack on larger warships, in reality, excellent target practice for CIWS or deck-mounted miniguns), and a handful of commercial ships modified to serve as amphibious landing ships.

It does have two proper frigates and some missile corvettes, recently built in Iran, and a "drone carrier", which is actually a container ship modified with a small flight deck to launch Shahed drones.

The actual navy operates a hodgepodge of similar small patrol boats and modified commercial ships, plus some actual warships obtained from the US under the Shah and some more recently built ships of Iranian build. These actual warships (albeit mostly built in the fucking 1960s) number a dozen or so.

Its submarine fleet is 3 Soviet subs from the 80s, one they managed to build themselves, and a dozen or so Iranian-built midget subs. Basically completely worthless. They also have a flotilla of various aging logistics ships of no combat value.

The total combined Iranian fleet is about 150 patrol boats, about 20 proper warships (frigates, corvettes etc), 4 proper subs and 15 mini-subs, and around 50 auxiliary and landing ships. Quality and capability varies vastly within these broad categories, and truth be told I have been very generous with the pictures. Much of the fleet is essentially rusty tugboats that are older than your mum and dad.

This mighty fleet would likely... not fare too well against the US Navy. Or frankly the Swedish Navy, if the Swedes fancied a laugh. I suspect if they choose to fight, it will go much like how it went for the Iraqi navy during the Gulf War, when the entire Iraqi fleet was destroyed by a few Royal Navy helicopters: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Bubiyan

The battle was completely one-sided. Lynx helicopters of the British Royal Navy, using Sea Skua missiles, were responsible for destroying 14 vessels (3 minesweepers, 1 minelayer, 3 TNC 45 Fast Attack Craft, 2 Zhuk-class patrol boats, 2 Polnocny-class landing ships, 2 salvage vessels, 1 Type 43 minelayer, and 1 other vessel) during the battle. The battle saw 21 separate engagements over a course of 13 hours. Of the 22 ships that attempted to escape, 21 were destroyed.

UPDATE: Within an hour of me making this post, it seems the US may well have sunk a third of the navy, the combat element of it anyway lol.

"this meme mocking dead american soldiers is actually a commentary and is mourning them"

raped
Have you ever known someone that died doing something stupid? They get ragged on for being stupid while they mourn.

It's a complex issue that can take many forms lol Nice try
moving the goalposts to civilians
It isnt moving the goalposts 🤣😂 terrorists target civilians
> 2003–2011 – Iraq War: Iranian-backed militias (Kata’ib Hezbollah, Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq, Jaysh al-Mahdi) killed hundreds of American soldiers using Iranian-supplied IEDs. The Pentagon estimated Iranian-backed groups were responsible for the deaths of over 600 Americans.

> December 2019 – K1 Air Base Attack, Iraq: Kata’ib Hezbollah rocket attack killed American contractor Nawres Hamid.

> January 2020 – Al-Asad Air Base Ballistic Missile Strike: Iran directly fired ballistic missiles at a base housing US troops; no deaths but over 100 soldiers suffered traumatic brain injuries.

> 2022–2024 – Syria & Iraq Drone/Rocket Attacks: Iranian proxy groups launched over 160 attacks on US bases across the region, killing and wounding multiple American personnel.

> January 2024 – Tower 22 Attack, Jordan: Iranian-backed Islamic Resistance in Iraq (Kata’ib Hezbollah) drone strike killed 3 (Sgt. William Rivers, Sgt. Kennedy Sanders, Sgt. Breonna Moffett) and wounded dozens
2003 - 2011 - US invaded the middle east under false information. 600 people would be alive if we werent there and in the end we accomplished 0

Nawres Hamid was an Iraqi translator in the middle east that worked with the enemy.

Al Asad airbase attack happened on Jan 8th. 2020. Jan 3rd 2020 the US assassinated Soleimani. I cant possibly figure out what would have provoked this attack on the US in the region. We clearly didnt provoke them at all by assassinating their general. They were just having a day. Not saying I want 100 soldiers to have traumatic brain injuries but this is generally termed cause and effect.

2022-2024/Jan2024 - see 2020 + the attacks were committed by a paramilitary group not a terrorist group. I do appreciate the attempt at the goalposts shift so you can just lump every group you dont like in.

Raped. Try answering without the tricks.

Even if Israel ceased to exist and every Jew was dead, Iran would still hate us and call for our destruction. They would still blame us for everything because their government was born out of a rebellion to a pro-American regime. We are their devil, and their Goldberg. All their incompetence is blamed on American agents. They are a bunch of death cultists obsessed with blaming us for their every ill and thus cannot be negotiated with.
This is it precisely, and its something the /pol/tards conveniently overlook when they shriek about Americans dying for Israel. People really give the Israelis way too much credit over their ostensible "control" over the USA and Trump in particular. US interests in the middle east have often not been the same as Israel's and have routinely even worked at cross purposes. Israel has also had to eat quite a few L's when the USA decides it wants something. Such as being forced to return the Sinai Peninsula to the Egyptians under Reagan.

Even as recently as last year, the US under Trump browbeat Netanyahu to back off of Iran by doing the performative "Midnight Hammer" operation, declaring mission accomplished and telling the Israel's to knock it off. This followed forcing Netanyahu to do the apology tour to the Qatari's in response to them trying to bomb the Hamas delegation in Doha. What is happening now is that for the first time in awhile US and Israeli interests are in perfect alignment. Such that it should be noted, this marks the first time Israel and the USA are on the same side of a shooting war in the Middle East.

The issue for the Israelis is the same as they were last year. They view Iran as ultimately responsible for the October 7 massacre, and have been seething about Iran funding Hezbollah, Hamas, and building nukes for the expressed purpose of destroying Israel for almost 20 years now. For the Americans, its a bit more nuanced but basically boils down to two things. The first is that Trump is mad Iran didn't get the message he sent last year with Midnight Hammer, and is still continuing their nuclear program.

But the second issue I think is more relevant to why this has popped off now. Trump gave his personal assurance to the Iranian protestors that if the Ayatollah massacred them, he would respond. Well, the Ayatollah massacred them. Cynical American politicians in the past like Bush and Clinton would have just shrugged their shoulders. But Trump from everything we have seen does not have the same temperament. The Ayatollah incurred a blood debt to Trump personally with that move, and Trump is not the type of person to leave a debt like that unpaid.

tl;dr
This has popped off because Israeli and American interests reached perfect alignment on the issue that it was time to kill the Ayatollah. Not because of some grand generational lizard people jewish plot. Iran has spent 47 years antagonizing the USA for reasons completely unrelated to Israel.

Optimistic as fuck. If the chain of command is broken and attacks are greenlit by group leaders instead of top brass, it is almost certain that they will start going after more and more non-military targets, which will naturally lead to more escalation.
Iranian FM quoted as saying they want to deescalate and talk to Trump... Trump quoted as saying he will talk to them. No quote from Trump saying he will stop bombing to talk to them
