I want a dedicated thread just for bathing in the tears of shitlibs who once again feel compelled to defend any entity Trump goes after, even a murderous, theocratic, genuinely-misogynist dictatorship.
Why does a criticism of US going abroad and killing evil people while sacrificing its own have to mean "defending any entity Trump goes after"? I agree the Iranian goatfucker and his regime are evil, I disagree that we need to do something about it. If you're making a purely moral argument, should the US next start targeting its own murderous, theocratic, genuinely-misogynist dictator allies? I don't care about them either, so my POV is "no".

ViggoW must've missed this post, where USCENTCOM literally says they are using US made Shaheed clones nowadays.

Look I agree with the rest of your statements but
A) it never is that easy
and
B) Iran can't be both ready to enrich uranium/build nukes/whatever AND powerless. If the US is attacking it and it's powerless, fine, but I dont think it's going to work out well long term. If the US is attacking it and it isn't powerless, then back to my original point.
If the US systematically destroys Iran’s capability to make war, which is what they are doing, how the fuck can Iran retaliate, genius?

Remember, Iran DINDU NOTHING and this is only Israel's war. Ignore that Iran has done:

> April 1983 – US Embassy Bombing, Beirut: Hezbollah (Iranian-backed) killed 63 people, including 17 Americans.

> October 1983 – Beirut Barracks Bombing: Hezbollah truck bombs killed 241 Marines and 58 French paratroopers - the deadliest single-day loss for the Marines since Iwo Jima.

> 1984 – US Embassy Annex Bombing, Beirut: Hezbollah killed 24 people, including 2 Americans.

> 1985 – TWA Flight 847 Hijacking: Hezbollah hijacked the plane and murdered USN diver Robert Stethem.

> 1988 – Pan Am Flight 103 (Lockerbie): While primarily attributed to Libya, Iranian involvement via the PFLP-GC is widely suspected; 270 killed including 190 Americans.

> June 1996 – Khobar Towers Bombing, Saudi Arabia: Saudi Hezbollah (backed by Iran’s IRGC) killed 19 USAF personnel and wounded hundreds more.

> 1998 – US Embassy Bombings, Kenya & Tanzania: While primarily an al-Qaeda operation, Iranian logistical links were alleged; 224 killed.

> 2003–2011 – Iraq War: Iranian-backed militias (Kata’ib Hezbollah, Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq, Jaysh al-Mahdi) killed hundreds of American soldiers using Iranian-supplied IEDs. The Pentagon estimated Iranian-backed groups were responsible for the deaths of over 600 Americans.

> December 2019 – K1 Air Base Attack, Iraq: Kata’ib Hezbollah rocket attack killed American contractor Nawres Hamid.

> January 2020 – Al-Asad Air Base Ballistic Missile Strike: Iran directly fired ballistic missiles at a base housing US troops; no deaths but over 100 soldiers suffered traumatic brain injuries.

> 2022–2024 – Syria & Iraq Drone/Rocket Attacks: Iranian proxy groups launched over 160 attacks on US bases across the region, killing and wounding multiple American personnel.

> January 2024 – Tower 22 Attack, Jordan: Iranian-backed Islamic Resistance in Iraq (Kata’ib Hezbollah) drone strike killed 3 (Sgt. William Rivers, Sgt. Kennedy Sanders, Sgt. Breonna Moffett) and wounded dozens.

Plus tried to carry out assassinations against regime enemies in the US like Masih Alinejad

1. Reap benefits itself
2. Take action based on said benefits(cause da joooooz might!)
I personally put the life of a single US citizen, let alone military member, above any material claims in the middle east. I also believe that it is corruptive to the US Republic to go on foreign wars. That morality aside, I don't believe the US is to reap more material benefits than the material cost of attacking/defending against Iran during this campaign.
