Ask men why they do things the way they do and maybe you'll get an honest answer

I don't even know what thread you're talking about

The only thread in this forum that makes me actually mad is the niggers eating cornstarch one. I mean look at them, look!

They're probably talking about the Man Hate thread. I used to love that thread but I quit going to it when Amber Heard Supporter and Lidl Drip left and Android Raptor got banned. It just wasn't as much fun after that. I still love my based zoomer women though.

How does my husband know when I turn the thermostat up even 1 degree?
I don't know how he knows, but I do know that I know, too.

What magic words can I use on him to let me be the master of the thermostat?
My wife makes puppy eyes at me and says she is cold and does a fake cute little shiver and that's usually enough for me to give in. Perhaps your husband is more strong willed than I

I'm dating myself with this probably, but why do men like Rush so much? I mean it's not like they suck or anything, they're fine, but I really don't get the level of appeal that they seem to have for males. Geddy Lee sounds like a cartoon villain.

My husband has been to every Rush concert. The BIGGEST Rush fan. He took the day off work when Neil Peart died.
I just read him your question and he said, and I quote “women have shit taste in music”

why do men run defense so hard for BPD foids? it really is baffling to watch a dude defend a woman thats done nothing but burn down everything he ever loved
Because some men just like crazy pussy. It's like a daredevil thing, been there done that, ain't worth it though

Oh i don't post on that one, no reason to. Same for the woman hate thread

Dudes who fucked bpd bitches cope about it by saying that they are really good on the bed and most men like to go along with the it to see if another sucker ends up falling for it and then we get to laugh at him for being a gullible retard

What kind of genuine questions do you men want to be asked?

No idea. I think Rush is okay, but it's basically only your jam if you're really into drums. People who like bass guitar love Motown and The Who, people who are really into complicated vocals like Freddie Mercury, and people who like playing with effects pedals go down the psychedelic rabbit hole. Your mileage may vary.

Rush is a cross between being technical, progressive music full of Ayn Rand references with a sound that is not inherently soothing, all of which are individually less likely to attract a female audience.

I just read him your question and he said, and I quote “women have shit taste in music”
This is correct (and applies to all media, really) but I wanted to be more judicious in how I described it.

All three are fairly technical and none of their music works well when you remove any part of it. I’m not confident their new tour is going to be great beyond the novelty of them touring again.

When it comes to prog rock, I was always more into Jethro Tull. I agree that Rush is a very technically proficient band, but it's not my bag.

Apparently to some it is, but that is not the majority, it goes something like this.

90% of male posters ignore the thread.
9% spergs out over it
1% voices their approval of it

There is a silent majority that tolerates the man-hate thread.

I am sometimes a bit infuriated if someone posts some blatantly untrue garbage there and I can't refute it because I am not supposed to post there.
But then I think of all the idiocy and misinformation on A&N which I could refute all day long and nobody would learn anything, so yeah, I am fine with the man-hate thread
Is it so hard to believe that on a site that revolves around following crazy people that one might be intrigued by crazy opinions by supposed crazy users?

I enjoy reading nonsense posts on A&N and such. Some crazy users will notice that you are gawking at them and point at you and yell shit like "WHY R U MAD??? REEEE!!!!!" like a crackhead who finds out they're being filmed.

Every man goes through a rite of passage that revolves around the lust for BPD. Usually in their early 20s but some men have not learned their lesson and are in their BPD phase in their 30s like icucks and some other people I've known in their 30s. in terms of defending them online, most likely young and inexperienced.

The BPD grip happens on men who are young and inexperienced with relationships and/or women and/or have had an extended period of loneliness desperate for validation, yes men love being validated too.

One thing for sure it's a rite of passage for most men. Post BPD phase is when a man becomes "punished" and realizes his penis has lured him into Dante's Inferno, and this is where the man is in rock bottom and talks to God, Yoda, his dad and it is finally revealed to him that looks aren't everything and what is really important in a relationship is the personality and intelligence, and compatibility of your partner.

Progressive Rock has historically been a male dominated music genre. It's nerdy, geeky, cheesy and uncool, it's basically the Star Trek of music genres and of course as a man I am a big prog rock and Star Trek fan too. Older generations who were teens in the 80s/90s will still see it as a cringe geek male genre as prog rock became very pretentious in the 90s and 2000s with fedora tipping symphonic rock tryhards like Dream Theater faggot listeners and Steven Wilson autistic glazers.

It might not be the case with younger generations but I don't want to devolve this post into prog rock sperging and the evolution and definition of a Prog genre.

This album hangs framed on my bedroom wall. If your man isn’t that level of Rush groupie, you’re lucky. I get to stare at camel toe whenever I lay in bed.

Much like the Woman Hate thread I view them both as 'talk to people who sympathize with this feeling' the thread. Sometimes its blatant bullshit, considering something, or an actual conversation. Plenty of times its just beating a particular drum because they want to vent.

I respect that women (and apparently plenty of want-to-be-women or sycophants) talk in the Man-hate thread. Keep the gender slap-fight there where its relevant rather than dragging their ass along the carpet like a dog. That goes both ways I am sick to death of "moid" and "foid" being tossed around like I'm speaking to a pack of zoomers.

Mine was a genuine question. I met my husband when I was 16. We have children and have been together a long time. The only real bickering anymore is over the thermostat, and even that is playful. I am very lucky to have my husband. If there is any mystery left, I’d like to keep it that way.
A lot of men tend to either run extremely hot and quite a few women run very cold so they'll lock horns over it. If you're in a city with peak pricing hours it can also be a real expensive thing to run heavily in some situations. My father was a real tightass about the thermostat but I don't worry as much unless its fuck-you-in-the-ass pricing at the peak of summer. Then its worth asking if the spouse is fine with it going up a couple of degrees.

If you haven't tried ask him unless he's just flatly refused to discuss it. He may not have actually realized he's being that controlling of it or it might just be a habitual thing from their father like myself.

Alright men, how do you feel about women who are not interested/not single giving men compliments? Sometimes I want to give men platonic compliments like I would to other women, but I hold off as to not give the wrong idea. Do you think women should feel more comfortable doing this or is it unbecoming? Do you think this would improve the general relationship between the sexes or would it sow confusion and discord? What would you teach your daughter?

It would improve things immensely. Though, it's a matter of how high-trust your society is.
