Finally got around to playin Jedi Survivor, and now that I am done with both games, I feel like they are an indictment on how poorly mad Disney Star Wars is, and show the difference between the sequel slop and a story that is made by people who like Star Wars. Cal Kestis is the best new Star Wars character in forever, and the supporting cast all are pretty likable. It seems like they are hoping for a third game, but honestly, I would be fine with just two really solid entries.

Hell, the 3 games starring Kyle Katarn just shows how much Disney Star Wars sucked in general as well. They literally stole the lightsaber-proof armor idea from Dark Forces that normies think it's something new from the franchise.

Wookieepedia used to be cool until the Disney SJWs moved in and started deleting shit. Yes I am talking about the Breasts page, kid!me loved it.

The retroactive reclassificstion of legends vs "canon" was already bad enough, but the insertion of pronouns as part of the bio was really absurd.

He stretches "I dunno about Dave F" for 35 minutes. It's peak Star War's nerd slop content.
That's sort of where I'm going with that. Most of these 30- and 40 minutes youtube slop "hottakes" could have been a tweet. Not even a tweetlonger.

imagine caring about any e-tards opinion whatsoever to even want a summary of their dogshit normie retardation

It sucks that the things Disney decided to keep from legends are the inconsequential stuff, and not the plot lines that people already liked. I really think people don't blame JJ enough for actually being the one who ruined Star Wars with his hard reset and mystery box crap.

I can't imagine how Disney's going to ruin Kyle if he was integrated into their canon.

Disney was fucking retarded and was huffing extreme copium back in the day when I thought that Disney would be protective of their new very expensive IP. To be fair, who could have predicted how dogshit Disney and KK Lucasfilm would be?

If I had it my way and I was president of Lucasfilm back 15 odd years ago, this is what I would have done with the EU to bring it mainstream with new adaptations.

Tales of the Jedi: Animated OVAs. Disparate stories and characters with focused narratives. Keeps costs down for a lesser known era.

Kotor: High production animated series. Kotor would be very expensive and initially to niche to produce live action. High end 2D animation is easier in many ways and has the potential to pull in the weebs and animus. Call backs to Tales of the Jedi for continuity and back advertising.

X-Wing: High Octane one off live action film. Top Gun in sphes. Tie ins to RoTJ.

Courtship of Princess Leia: Miniseries. No need to be too long, but could be a fun way to attract a "modern audience." Mass appeal.

Thrawn Trilogy: First new live action feature films. Keep them tight and focused while setting up for the later arcs. Attractive to old and new SW fans for the charisma and uniqueness of Thrawn. "Subverts" expectations and established tropes.

Dark Empire: Over the top and convoluted plots and plot devices would work great for a AAA trilogy. Think Mass Effect with melee combat amongst others possibilities. Bombastic over the top. Replayable. Companion comic replublication.

Jedi Academy: High production and andvertised streaming series. Introduce, showcase, and explore various characters old and new. Flesh out Luke's new generation of Jedi.

Black Fleet and other stories as spin off streaming series.

NJO: Full throttle trilogy of feature films. Major production costs for spectacle. Long run times to allow for narrative weight. Consequences for characters established earlier in new adaptations.

Dark Nest: HBO series. Weird, existential, niche. For super fans and those who like stranger genres of film and TV. Gives variety.

Legacy of the Force: New series of feature films telling different parts of the story from different POV main characters. One of the things I liked most about the novels.

Legacy comics: Fresh beginning post OT characters. New multimedia project of films, new and old comics , novels, video games, and television.

Im sure you guys would do it differently, but its hard to imagine that any of us would do it worse than Disney and Lucasfilm.

Also, I purposely avoided Clone Wars and Rise of the Empire era. They are better represented already. Maybe cash grab remakes?
