Reproach for personal foibles like these should only be done in private, and with people with whom you have a good relationship. That way they know you're coming from a place of charity.Sure, but it’s how you do it that makes it consistent with Catholicism or not. Rhetorical questioning about how Stock explained her ruptured hymen on her wedding night isn’t Catholic. Can still be moral instruction if you squint and tilt your head, I guess.
From Matthew 18:15-17:
It's not our place to go around airing out other people's private dirty laundry. There's a reason priests get defrocked if they disclose what they're told in confession. We all have our faults and need God's mercy. If your brother sins, go and tell him his fault between you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have won over your brother. If he does not listen, take one or two others along with you, so that every fact may be established on the testimony of two or three witnesses. If he refuses to listen to them, tell the church. If he refuses to listen even to the church, then treat him as you would a Gentile or a tax collector.
Naming-and-shaming should only be for obstinate public sinners, such as lolcows who bring it on themselves and never take accountability for their own actions.
The louder a Christian is on the internet the bigger degenerate they are.
Jesus explicitly says that "not everyone who calls me 'Lord, Lord' will enter the Kingdom of Heaven". At the Last Judgment, He will directly tell many people who claimed to be His disciples: "I never knew you. Depart from me, you evildoers".Talking the talk doesn't have any relation to your ability to walk the walk.
