Not only is the eponymous Strike missing half his leg in a realistic, actually disabling way, but characters with serious physical and mental disabilities play a massive part in the plots of at least six books that I can recall, and they're always treated very compassionately.

Just by my count, there's the girl with Downs in "Silkworm," the blind woman in "Lethal White," the schizophrenic in "Lethal White," the disabled family in "Troubled Blood," the cop with hyperthyroidism in "Troubled Blood," the quadriplegic in "Ink Black Heart," and the canonically autistic man in "Running Grave."

And that's not counting the terminally ill characters in a couple books.

As per the email trail, this would be one Rhys Kimmit who was assistant to Colin Callender, one of the producers of Cursed Child at the time. He didn't work for Rowling.

The person responsible for ordering the tickets sent is Epstein's publicist and friend Peggy Siegal. It's interesting to see from the trail that she requests the tickets from Callender for a friend of hers that she doesn't name initially. It's once she is through to the assistant that the name Epstein - mud by 2018 - comes out.

Personally, I can't get over what an insufferable cow she sounds in the e-mail. Maybe this is just me, but even when I'm writing a letter of complaint to companies and organisations that have really fucked me over, I always take pains to be polite and relay the facts of the matter and my dissatisfaction with them firmly but neutrally, rather than ranting and raving at people.

In their rush to gloat over Rowling they're forgetting that Epstein's entire MO was being a socialite who tried to get as many people in power implicated. I would imagine any rich and/or politically powerful person is likely to have some kind of oblique mention in these documents.

It's kind of like equating Diddy's white parties (industry events that lots of musical artists attended) with his infamous sex abuse parties.

If Rowling (or anyone else) did have direct communication or visited the island then yeah, it's worth some side eye and also probably socially responsible to make fun of her on the internet, but this "proof" is completely not it.
