I'm going to guess it was Nikki since she lives with him.
However it would be hilarious if it was Sam and Styx calls the police and they arrest him for violating the restraining order she has on him.
 
On re-read, Nikki was steaming in her car recently, she may actually have decided to batter the cabin boy. (He can wear a captain hat, but he is no captain.)

I don't think it could be Sam even though she's absolutely a puncher, because he seems to have delusions of being in love with her, he wouldn't press charges through the simp-field. GayRV wouldn't make sense because she's been gone for like ten years. It's gotta be Nikki, right?
 
I was under the impression Sam lived in the Netherlands? There are so many tarts you could cook several pies, it's hard to keep track.
