I don't think it's a matter of work ethic. He just has no theory of mind. Everyone should want the same things he wants and act in a way that advances his interests, even if it doesn't benefit or even harms them. Look at how dogged he was in his Instathot love quests. Yes, which is why I disagree with people who say he has no work ethic. He does. Up until recently he's almost always working at a job that pays enough to have his own apartment and a car. In today's economy that's honestly impressive in any large city, especially with his shitty employment history and lack of a bachelor's degree. Lots of people his age are doing far worse for themselves on a financial standpoint. At least at the age he was when this thread started.
