It was more just a quip about Jeremy's mental capabilities but it's worth noting that there's something "off" about his marriage. He's always been a creep out in the open, not in the contrived way a feminist would say so but like he'll narrate these bizarre cuck fantasies about Gina Carano or fixate on getting pics of his co-host's feet and stuff like that. Then there's the issue of the wife's co-pilots that gets discussed. We don't have any good evidence but something about it seriously doesn't add up. (Though I will say that from the little we know about Heather she does seem like a sweetheart.)

Partially. My headcanon is that black people are terrible parents (this is why you will always be black for me) because you all look the same so you can't typically tell if the kid is really yours. I don't watch Jeremy much anymore, but maybe. The credit card coffee company was incredibly stupid of him, the fish tank was a disaster. Might be the wrong thread for the question, but what happened? He got a rumble deal, but otherwise was doing alright. Did he get beaten up by a tranny again or something?

I love shit like this. Styx is really good at talking about weird concepts and things that spark the imagination. I mean that without being a dick about it too. If the guy could handle a beer I'd love to sit and have one with him to talk about aliens and who built the pyramids and whatnot.

@Styxhexenhammer666 have any good sci-fi recommendations? Three Body Problem is really popular but it was written by a filthy Chinese communist and I get the general concept already. I really liked the Children of Time series and the author is releasing a new book soon (that you SHOULD NOT KILL YOURSELF SO YOU CAN ENJOY READING IT). I read the first two Hyperion books as well and liked them a lot, first book is a lot of short stories and bizarre concepts shrouded in mystery and the second book solves most of those mysteries in a pretty satisfying way.

As much as I like to make fun of Tarl's dumb pirate wizard shit, I kind of like him. For all his faults he does not commit the gravest of sins, which is being boring. So I'll say that I genuinely don't want Tarl to kill himself because he makes the world more interesting, so... don't do it faggot.

It has a lot to do with his style of grifting, like he'll claim poverty one week and then show off his latest waste of money the next. Just generally he seems like a dog chasing its tail, it's difficult to describe why it's so enjoyable to alog him but we've gotten over the hump where no one will stop by his thread anymore to try and say he isn't a lolcow.

User @MikeyNohMore made a documentary about him recently. I still haven't gotten around to watching it yet but everyone said it was really good.

I just reread Niven's _A World Out Of Time_. Good hard SF time travel yarn. I don't bother with current authors and their churned out series.

I reread Fountain of Paradise recently, there's a bunch of old scifi that's really good hard scifi.. Clarke is a great author as well as David Drake, he did a one off, Redliners that was really good. I really enjoyed the Mote in God's Eye, and it's sequel with Purnelle(I think I forget his co author). There's so many, but Stephenson is fairly consistent, Reamde is about smuggling virtual currency across the Canadian border, Seven Eves had soft canabalism, Snow Crash has the dogbot.

Is there just a general sci-fi thread I can go to, and once I get thru the reading list sperg about scifi?

@Nig Nog Neanderthal Didn't Paul Anderson write a bunch of time travel books as well?
