In 1989 it was amazing. By 1993 it was pulp. I'm not sure how else I could put it. There was a great documentary from about 1991 in which he described just how he made one thing up without even owning a computer- and went with it.It didn't lower him in my mind, it elevated him- but when I tried to go back and read it again, it was like modern Stephen King. Just- an empty husk.

(E: Jim Leonard had encoded it and put it on YouTube, but it seems to be gone now.)

Marked Christian Content. I think there a lot of people here who used to watch Tard before booze. I find his hot takes surface level and the fact he is so scrambled he cant tell you where he gets these ideas from. Like Isaac Arthur will tell you which books he read that goes over these concepts in detail. Before drinking destroyed Tard he apparently had a rigorous docketing routine and did research to prepare for videos. Tard always at a penchant for trying to appear like all his thoughts were original but in general, his hot takes on a lot of stuff were pretty good so I didn't care where he got the idea from.

You are nice to try and pat smelly drunken Tard on the back, I'm more prone to wanting to give tougher 'love' for this kind of a derailment - Tards current state does indict his parents as enablers - who the hell would permit this level of depravity in their house? Who would let their smelly unemployed son drink and carouse and ask for nothing in return, and certainly who would let such an ingrateful drunk bastard abandon their daughter? If he was my son he would sicken me.

To me this is alcoholism and Peter Pan / puer aeternus to the max, mixed in with some "female brain" elements in his male brain - its like Tard himself is part BPD-woman.

No, the state arrested him because they believed him to be violating a court order of no contact from New Orleans that was legally non-transferable to Vermont, hence the dismissal of that case and his supposed win on 12/10.

However, the victims advocates and the police asked me weeks or months prior to do an interview with a detective and answer questions, so I did. I also made every attempt to inform them that I had reasons to believe that his parents enabling him in his self-destructive ways and apologetically encouraging him to drink himself to death was the main cause of all of his issues and I ask and ask that he seeks professional rehabilitation. A wet brain doesn't make cut-and-dry rational decisions.

You'll say and twist whatever it is I say to continue believing I am the bad guy, I am not. There's a reason Tarl loves and defends me despite all of Nikki's whoring and bitching and whining. He's trying to keep the peace, and I will wage war on everyone involved until that peace of his is kept; he is deserving of it whether I am in his life or not.
