After finally getting round to reading the original Thrawn trilogy (I thought it would take longer than a day but hey ho), all I could say is that I could have fixed Mara Jade in like 1 book ok

What the fuck are you talking about Filoni has never really had a vision beyond fanfiction, all he does is fanservice and predicatbillity and by that I mean that he just retcons and forces the characters to behave in a a way that drives the story forward.

Whenever he steals a character from the EU, the characters never act like like they should instead he relies on the their in universe reputation to do the lifting for his writning. Filoni is not even tell, not show the character just appears and you are just suposed to be exicted for them.

The worst part about him is that he loves shrinking the galaxy by having the entire thing revolve around his ocs that continuously humiliate and beat OG/EU characters. Cause he is unable to build anything on his own.

Thrawn is the perfect example. Why does the empire care enough about a rag tag group of rebles on a shithole planet like Lothal. To not only send Tarkin but Grand admiral Thrawn. I still remeber watching that dumbass scene when he gushes all over Filonis OC Hera. Then the humilation continues. Instead of a grand strategist he is reduced to a saturday morning cartoon villian that loses every single encounter in just to frame it as a victory while acomplishing nothing.

The entire Disney era of Star Wars has been this but Filoni is definitely the most egregious offender.

There has never been an actress luckier than Daisy Ridley. The ones who look like her can typically act and the ones who act like her are typically Playmate of The Month hot.

Same, in under two decades they bastardize the Star Wars IP so much that there's is much less excitement for future entries. How many people here even know about the star wars movie coming out in a few months? I remember a time when Star wars made a new movie or show, there was a big global excitement.
