Box wine is colloquially called "goon". Box wine enjoyers were the real gooners before the word adopted a whole other meaning on the internet.what is a bag of goon?

I think the box wine meaning came after the thug meaning, but don't quote me on this.A goon used to mean a thug, they were gangers drinking cask wine?
Slap the Goon and Other Games
Slap the Goon is a famous tradition that backpackers and other travellers in Australia learn about quickly. Created by a mate in Byron Bay, it all started with the idea that you literally need to slap the space bag before drinking.
The effects of slapping the goon are still discussed and not scientifically proven, but nevertheless, the idea took hold, and now “Slap the Goon” is popular all over Australia.
You can find people wearing "Slap the Goon" shirts all over the country, and you can even buy Slap-the-Goon Goon, which is a goon brand named after the saying.
Slap the goonOther Popular Games
Goon of Fortune: A game that involves hanging up bags of wine on a clothesline
Goon Pong: Like beer pong, but with (what else?) goon
Quite thonk provoking indeed...Where Did the Name Goon Come From?
This is a real mystery. No one knows the origin of the name. Wikipedia says it came from the word flagon, and another source says it comes from the Indigenous word for 'pillow' (because of the bag). The truth, however, remains a mystery.
I would suggest getting those Dr Scholls or some other foot insoles, it might help a littleI'll have to do something about it eventually.
I am on my feet for a lot of the day and I put in a lot of steps. My previous shoes fell completely to bits so I have got new ones but I am not sure if they are helping at all.
I do find if my arms or neck is in a certain position it makes my leg muscles hurt really bad, it must be all very connected.
You're not an investment banker or surgeon. You print stickers. It's not that important, dude. Even if you didn't show up to work for a week straight, I strongly doubt any real money would be lost and they'd probably just pick up an Indian off the street. The thing is the factory could fall over if I am not there as one thing failing can hold up everything and cost a lot of money. I was told to take time off as I'm over 20 days annual leave, but then they make it difficult to do so. Monday there is two new starts, a desk shift, and a new PC first login, all things that I do, so what is going to happen if I am not there? I'm probably going to end up having to go in. I'd love to turn my phone off, but really, if I go that far I should just throw it away and quit, which is certainly what I need to do.
well that is australia for you they invenrted a lot of wordsI think the box wine meaning came after the thug meaning, but don't quote me on this.
Behold, I found an interesting article on the subject of goon: https://discover.hubpages.com/trave...us-Drink-GOON-backpacker-travel-drink-alcohol

Otc = over-the-counter. Acetominophen, Iibuprofen, paracetamol, whatever - standard pain relievers. What are OTC meds?
We have fairly ergonomic chairs, adjustable height desks, and dual monitors also adjustable, so as good as it gets. But whatever the case, I'm saying you still hve to make an effort both in front of screens and otherwise to correct against poor posture, excess tension, etc. Get up every hour for a few minutes, practice constantly correcting the jutting, get stronger so your large and core mu's les are doing their jobs instead of letting your body collapse on itself for hours at a time.My Neck does jut forward when I'm on the computer.
You probably sit at a computer chair as well do you? There is no back support, so I also try to sit straight but it gets tiring quickly, and it's easy to have a bad postuer without thinking about it.
Computer chairs and screens and keyboards just naturally put you in a poor position. We were not designed to be in front of computers for so many hours of the day.
Disc degeneration between a few vertebrae at the base of the neck and bone spurs growing from the other direction. Degen is natural with age, more with some people than others, but when it gets to a point the nerves or nerve roots don't have enough space without getting pressed, it can cause pain, even numbness or tingling in arm/ hand, etc. The irritation can also cause soft tissues to swell around the problem area, which only makes the space tighter. So reducing the inflammation (injection) ND improved posture and strength can alleviate the impingement and pain. The disks are still toast, but longer (not scrunched up) and stronger muscles provide better support, increase range of motion if that's been reduced, and open up things as much as possible. Plus generally strong muscles and good posture both feels and looks better and keeps muscle aches and stiffness from setting in for anyone.Your neck is compressing in on itself over time?
Not jittery, just in pain and so constantly trying to stretch or finding a comfortable position. And I wouldn't say rigid, but yes consistent and regular. So you are keeping a ridged schedule on the exercises because if you don't then you will be up all night in pain and jittery at work the next day.
What have you tried?I don't think I can beat anxiety. Everything is just as hard to do now as it was 20 years ago. No matter what I try it doesn't help.
I know. I think you should try again.I think I wasn't built for urban environments. I just want to be alone in a quiet rural area. I just want to not have to deal with people.
I went to mcdonalds once and I've not been able to go back since.
Fair. Many people prefer it. But that doesn't create positive perspectives or peace for you, either. So maybe you're looking for root cause in some of the wrong places.I just can't deal with life, I need to be able to stay indoors with me and kirby and nothing but peace and quiet.
Literally no. You are not the one surgeon in the world who can perform a lifesaving surgery. You replaced someone who could do the job. If you quit tomorrow, the company would go on. Obviously you are not the only person who can make the wheels turn. The thing is the factory could fall over if I am not there as one thing failing can hold up everything and cost a lot of money.
Someone else will do it, or it will wait. Leave your boss written instructions on the onboarding tasks, and they will figure it out. And if they don't, that's their dumb planning and not your problem.I was told to take time off as I'm over 20 days annual leave, but then they make it difficult to do so. Monday there is two new starts, a desk shift, and a new PC first login, all things that I do, so what is going to happen if I am not there?
That makes no sense. Outgoing auto-reply on company systems: "I am out of the office from x to y and Wil not be reachable. For questions about a, contact person 1. For questions about b, c, or d, contact person 2. Otherwise, I will be back on y date and will reply after that point.". Millions of people do this every single day. Work waits or if not possible to wait, someone figures out how it can be done.I'm probably going to end up having to go in. I'd love to turn my phone off, but really, if I go that far I should just throw it away and quit,
Look, if you wanted to record a video, but you really wanted to use the Pause button rather than the Record button, how do you think your video would come out?which is certainly what I need to do.
I'm trying to live life my way
but everyone makes sure I am stuck in the wage cage and tells me it's the only way.
No I didn't get a break, I mean the new years public holiday, it was a longer weekend but I was on call.
All the more reason to see the doc. Vertigo or eye troubles don't sound good. I'd track everything you eat and drink for a week, and number of hours sleep, then when and how bad the vertigo/ pain/ eye problems happen, and take that in. It might help with a diagnosis.Okay I'll see if I can find some videos on neck pain. The weird thing is it's not just pain and vertigo, but even my eyes can't deal with motion now, which makes no sense.
Back and shoulder muscles should be holding up your body. If those atrophy, then combined with posture/ muscle scrunching, and the body's tendency to take shortcuts trying to compensate for other parts not doing their jobs means more likely to hold head lazily - jut out, squish down neck into shoulders, lean this way or that rather than strong alignment from foot to head. What muscles are doing the work of the neck muscles?

Occasionally I take pain reliever, yes. Rarely now bc I've been to the doctor and gotten help/ taken action to address the problem/ pain instead of continuing to suffer needlessly. So you are taking painkillers too huh. I have had 6 anti inflammatories today
I'll bet you could get one for home.I wish I had a nice chair.
Like I said before, core exercises and strengthening back, etc.. Plus making it a priority. How do you get stronger and better at sitting up straight, it takes so much energy and it quickly gets too painful to do and you have to relax.
I didn't do anything. It just is. Trapped? I'm not thrilled and don't want surgery though that is most probable. So I'm doing what I can do to stave that off and be healthy and strong.Did they say what you did to have disc degeneration? It can't just be age surely, can it? Having trapped news must be absolutely horrific
What is it with most jewish-looking people being mad at jews? Every fucking time.
Is ancestor research not a thing anymore? Zero self respect.
