This story about driving the days old corpse of a dog to the vet from bumfuck nowhere balldostan to a vet in a larger town and then driving its corpse back for the kids to observe sounds utterly insane. It's fan fiction. This didn't happen.
Imagine making up such a contrived lie to cope with being late for your garbage circle jerk.

the dog ate my homework has become the dead dog ate my streaming career.

Most vets would only allow a person take a corpse home when a dog is freshly deceased & would usually prepare the body for burials if the owner intends on burying, but wouldn't it be a health hazard to take a dog mid-preservation/decomposition to take it home & bring it back?

So was the dog already at the vet when he found out sunnie died or the sitter had the body sitting out for days, then nick took it to the vet, then brought it back so the kids "could say goodbye" just to drive back to the vet.

The whole story about bringing the dog's body home doesn't make any sense. Wouldn't it make more sense to take the kids to the vet's office to see it, rather than chauffeurring a dead dog around town?? And, once he had it home, wouldn't it make more sense to bury the dog there? IIRC, he said they already had a "pet cemetery" on their property. All he'd have to do is dig a hole 4 feet deep---oh yeah, nvm, he's way too lazy for that.
To be fair, it's December in Minnesota. Digging isn't really an option.

He's still retarded to haul the carcass around though. It's been dead a while. He'd have done better to just bring the ashes home. Not sure what he though he was saying goodbye to unless he was just buying sympathy points with his kids.

Nick/Kids convo: "I know you think I just put the dog in the pound because I hated him but look: he's dead. Just like I said. Deal with it. I wasn't lying."

You know what that means.

The Truth is something even dumber and far worse.

Nick's got 1500 viewers and over 600 likes

He changed his lighting setup so that his snaggle tooth doesn't stick out so much but you can still see it occasionally.

Definitely but this is Rekieta so we are deep into "things that never ever happened" land.

1500 viewers? Kiwisisters, is it ovah? Are we felted by Rekietamale?

Nick wanted to spend as much time with his kill as possible

This makes no sense at all. I mean I agree, it would make more sense, and he is lazy, but no this isn't happening.

And this is why. It's frozen there, especially today since they just got a blizzard in the region. It's total bullshit.

ETA: And by bullshit, I mean that Nick can't seem to have a human reaction to anything without trying to manipulate people.

This was a perfect opportunity for Rekieta to redeem, prove his haterz wrong and so on just by having a family moment, take a picture, post it, and refer to the post on his stream.
The fact that he can't even manipulate or puppeteer such a family moment tells you how stuff's going in the Rekieta divided household.

The "toxic substance" was moldy leftovers from DENNY'S!
He went from doggie bag to body bag ACK ACK ACK!
He didn't even know what he ordered.

:really:

Plus what was the urgency that this had to be done right before the stream?
It wasn't. It was textbook duper's delight. He hides behind a sad, heroic narrative so no one can say a bad word, and you can practically feel the smug satisfaction he gets when people post sympathy and swallow his BS. He also seems to relish showing up late, disrespecting his paying audience, and watching them accept it and crawl back anyway, throwing money at him.
He changed his lighting setup
That's what he did before the stream and why he was late.
He'd rather come up with some insane story to justify why he was late instead of saying "Fucked up, lost track of time. Sorry I'm late."
I had a friend once that did that constantly, and I wanted to scream every time. I called him out multiple times, told him "just tell me you're not coming to help me as you offered and that's it - it's fine", but every time he would make up an insane intricate lie "my dog got really sick with x we went to the emergency vet" / "my grandma got lost" / "my car x" and often they would have a high emotional/personal cost so if you said anything bad - you're the asshole, not him who offered to help you, made you wait the whole day at home without a word, stood you up and sent you a message late at night or three days later why he couldn't come.

I either believe Nick is so stupid to actually do a thing like go to pick up a decomposing/frozen dog and take it home just to instill an additional emotional injury and bring it back OR he's just not smart to make up a better lie that's going to work. And you know what? IT DOES. It does work. Because he had the highest viewership in a while and people are giving him support. Narcissists are not doing/saying BS like that because it doesn't work. And they're interested in keeping around only the people it works on. That's how they filter and keep only perfect victims in their vicinity.
