Alex Karp constantly zipping around like that had me rolling.
 
Unironically great stuff. Best episode by far yet. The Red Scare bit, David Karp, the "Making Christmas" parody, the final battle, pure KINO.

The outfits are real too. He genuinely is just like that IRL.
 
The Christmas Special was a return to form. The previous episode had issues, while this one's well made all the way through. The animation quality has taken off too. The first two are a bit dodgy, the third gets a few steps better, and at this point, it is something you could see in a commercial cartoon, and often better. It's really funny Emily is beating them at their own game. At this rate, I expect articles about how animated shows from non approved sources are dangerous disinformation, and how they need to be banned or returned to the hands of animation experts who have a diploma from CalArts.
 
i thought the first half of the christmas episode was kinda meh

but starting at the youre a mean one mr karp to the end was pretty kino

especially the nightmare before christmas song and the groks saving will
 
Really great way to end the year with. Unlike the previous two which felt slapdash entertainment, this one had plot, structure and characterization. In fact, its too easy to forget that the people in the show are based on real people!

Definitely a strong episode. One of the things I appreciate about this show is how it has a way of sucking you in. The opener for this Christmas special definitely started slow but it was there to enforce the idea that Mr Stancil do be like that.

But everything afterwards was a series of escalations. You have Will Stancil who is being Santa for very selfish reasons, and you have Alex Carp who is being Big Brother also for selfish reasons. One of Emily's strengths is establishing immediately who the bad guys are and making you want to keep at eye on them. Another thing to note here is that the animation quality here has shot up significantly.

The middle of the story has been nothing but build up for the two men. Will is forcing blacks to make presents for... black children and Carp is busy hunting Nazi Will to the point he torches suspects and bringing down the hammer of ZOG on anyone he suspects or simply doesn't like.

Everything here is building up for my favorite trope in fiction: Evil vs Evil.

Emily has also established Carp to be a significant threat because of his spying technology and his legions of Zogbots. Both being drones and actual guys with guns that mindlessly follow his orders. So for the latter half, I can't help but wonder how Will would escape this. I assumed Nazi mode would be lol OP. But that got subverted within the show.

Even then, the clash was great. The jokes hit hard. Was laughing my head off while I was watching till the very end.

A solid 10/10. What a way to end the year.

Emily Youcis is someone with vision and skill, to that I am grateful that she takes time to create stuff like this. For all the people giving AI shit, this show is an example of what you can do with the will and the autism to make it work.

Its funny. Murdoch Murdoch never got this level of attention because everything was too slapdash and cut out so anyone outside looking in would just see another random cartoon. Then you have the Will Stancil Show. Proof that you don't have to be stuck watching Calarts crap and can make your own entertainment.

The best part about the articles made about the show is how they will be forced to point out that Palantir is spying on everyone and how it has control over the military. So they'll be outing themselves while they're at it.
 
Emily Youcis must be feeling some kind of way about only writing the second most ridiculous stories about Will Stancil.
 
Imagine being such a living cartoon character that a parody made by an actual schizophrenic is only like 10% more ridiculous than your actual day to day life.
