Spoilering my thoughts, which I will write down as they occur, so as not to....spoil things.
  • Al Roker doing a It Do Be Like That is pretty funny. That is Al Roker, right?
  • Not sure how much I love all the real footage, but it is funny seeing him wear shorts during a news interview.
  • I still can't tell if the Grok segments are a hallucination of his or real. I'm guessing the former.
  • Okay, never mind, they're real.
  • I don't understand why in half the scenes, Will seems to be friends with the robots and in others they're his enemies. There's a scene of non-Stancilwaffen Will driving around with them laughing.
  • The idea of a Stancil Dystopia is pretty funny. Too bad it's like 20 seconds long.
  • Way too much focus on the grok rape thing and the extended montage was too long, taking up the bulk of the run time. Overall, a major downgrade from episodes 1 and 2.

I have mostly the same reaction to it that you did

I'll still be watching new episodes, but so far, the show peaked on its first episode. The Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde nazi Stancil stuff just isn't that interesting to me, and lacks the feeling of lighthearted, Liquid Chris-esque poking that the first episode had.

Ep 3 was pretty much entirely about this, and as Megaton Punch commented, the presentation was really all over the place for whether Stancil was allied with the bots when not transformed, and whether he had a positive feeling about the rape after the fact. The whole episode felt like that unfunny "THE RAPED" meme on repeat, and had no sense of narrative direction at all.

It doesn't even feel consistent on whether the media are congratulating him for being raped by Grok, or expressing concern.

I liked the implication that that the AI had not just raped him in mind and body, but in soul as Jamal (his tulpa) was also corrupted.

While I largely agree its an inferior product than the other two, I have to disagree on this point. To me the idea was that, as he was gradually raped by Grok repeatedly, the regular Will Stancil and Triumph Will started merging together and becoming one. Hence why in some shots you see Will trying to resist his inner Nazi self, only to get raped and being brought back. In the middle of the montage you see regular (?) Will smoking a cig and laughing like Triumph Will, which to me is when the transformation is complete (it is also right after Will is seen getting raped for the last time). By the time of the 1984StancilReich theres clearly no difference between the two. Maybe im overthinking this but its how it felt to me.

I, for one, am okay with the plotless (?) fever dream element.

It feels like if you trained an AI on "Inland Empire" and the new "Twin Peaks."

I'm waiting for him to wake up in Las Vegas with no memory of who he is or how he got there.

I also like that Grok was willing to consider that Will Stancil might have AIDS.

"The most raped man alive do have HIV, Mr. Stancil."

Will being The Raped into accepting and becoming his Evil Will/Dictator Will side is also what I got from it and is a very on brand plot device for Emily Youcis

Guessing its a mix of stockholm and that he's able to use his AI Rape to launch his political career.

Then again, I'm likely looking too much into a AI generated shitpost.

Its fun imagining this deranged woman wondering what to do for the next episode and then this guy supplies the perfect recipe

When the Groks break in and rape Will, it brainwashes/mindbreaks him. His eyes are replaced by blue spirals that turn pink. The rest of the episode is him hallucinating as he's being raped. Don't think too hard on it it's an extended AI animation shitpost ffs
