The whole world was fucked because of a virus that Fauci helped create and just "inconveniently leaked" after Fauci greenlit the research that enabled it to become so transmissible, it was easier to forgive Trump's pattern of shitty personnel choices before that became clear than it was to forgive Biden for keeping the little scheming fuck around
... which happened under Trump, culminating in 2019.

US Tech Force (.gov) is hiring.
The US Tech Force is recruiting an elite corps of engineers to build the next generation of government technology. Backed by the White House, Tech Force will tackle the most complex and large-scale civic and defense challenges of our era – from administering critical financial infrastructure at the Treasury Department to advancing cutting-edge programs at the Department of Defense – and everything in between.
Through a two-year program, participants will work in teams reporting directly to agency leadership. In collaboration with leading technology companies, participants will receive technical training, engage with industry leaders, and work closely with senior managers from companies partnering with the Tech Force.

Upon completing the program, engineers can seek employment with the partnering private-sector companies for potential full-time roles – demonstrating the value of combining civil service with technical expertise.

If you are highly skilled in the areas of software engineering, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, data analytics, or technical project management and want to build the future of American government technology, join the Tech Force today.
Technoids are complaining about Trump and DOGE, but the pay rate seems to be the biggest problem. The jobs are in Washington DC, which has one of the highest costs of living in the country. The Tech Force web site claims a pay range of $150,000 to $200,000 for entry level, but that's a GS-14/15 by the federal pay schedule. A GS-15 is equivalent to a full colonel or naval captain in the military.

Fed insiders say GS-7/9 is typical IT starting pay. Maybe whoever put up this web site didn't understand the federal GS system, but it's also possible there's some sort of special pay involved.

What. The. Hell.

I know it's a different kind of country and you can praise or shit on whatever you want about the US. But the thing I just CANNOT understand is HOW, OH GOD HOW do they not have a standard, universal, mandatory ID. Why the fuck are they relying on passports and drivers' licenses and other random shit?

The drivers’ license IS the universal ID. You can also get a “normal” State ID that has the same effect, but you’re not allowed to drive a car. The drivers’ license is more common because most people in the US learn to drive a car before leaving high school. You can start with a State ID and then work your way up if you like.

That's unexpected but also fitting. Classifying Fent as a Weapon of Mass Destruction is a perfect response; it's accurate too. Now let's see hallucinogens and Marry Jane rescheduled please.
Now we just get to wait for liberals and/or the press to start explaining to the public why Fentanyl is really a health-promoting vitamin complex that's just misunderstood like Reefer Madness explained weed to us.

Which is retarded.

"Sorry, you didn't pass the driving test. I guess you don't get to be identified in any official capacity"

To be fair, you do have the State ID, but at the same time, you can just retake the drivers test until you get it. It isn't one try and its over, you can keep trying until you get your license.

I don't care for Kash, but I hate how it's now the FBI's fault the Brown shooter got away, as opposed to the inept university and Providence Police. It reminds me way too much of Hurricane Katrina and how the New Orleans mayor and LA Governor acted like they had no responsibility at all and it was all Bush's fault 1,000 miles away. And to Bush's failure he never fought back against that stupidity so it became ingrained in the national mindset.

"Sorry, you didn't pass the driving test. I guess you don't get to be identified in any official capacity"
What? If you fail the driving test you can easily ask for a regular non-driving ID. They'll issue it right then and there (since you've already proven identity, otherwise they won't bother testing you). Them you can re-test as much as you want to "upgrade" to a regular driver's license once you pass.

Trump didn't wish his opposition the best during the Charlie Kirk memorial, because that could have been him, all because said opposition engineered the mind virus to allow a fleshy virus like Thomas Crooks to attempt an assassination. People have the memory of a late-stage Alzheimer patient, why would Trump bother showing grace which won't be reciprocated?
In his (partial) defense, Reiner did express horror at Kirk's assassination. Adding that that shouldn't happen to anybody, regardless of their politics. He also expressed admiration for how Erika Kirk responded to it.

Like many of you, I didn't agree much with Reiner's politics. And yes, he absolutely had TDS.

However, I also don't agree with how Trump has responded to this.

I mean we already have everything out there, calling Fent for George Droid's Fent Reactor a WMD would be a hell of a way to kickstart a war lmao.
Yeah, feels like posturing.

btw does anyone remember the blatant HOI4 level justification that Trump and JD were doing with Canada and Iceland? Stating that their territories were incapable of operating without the military and economic assistance of the United States? Never thought they'd succeed in integrating Canada but Greenland was a possibility with the visit JD made to Pituffik where he said that Iceland was too insecure to protect the interests of the United States because of Denmark.

We have state IDs that are very similar to driver's licenses. I once knew a guy who got a driver's permit and made it nearly 40 years of their life not knowing they did not have a driver's license but a driver's permit...keep in mind, this person had been pulled over and joined the military; not all at once. The State ID is a powerful, universal tool. I know it isn't the best system but it is what we got; until blockchain IDs at least.

This also ignores the fact that particular states have issued drivers licenses to illegals.

I for one hope they bring in the performance doctor from the fent Floyd trial who stood in court and said that Floyd being a long time smoker would have no effect on his ability to breathe.

Was that before or after Kimmel got put in timeout for a weekend?

I want a reckoning where everyone involved in Ghostbusters 2016 is put in jail.
2016? Surely this man is mad, it was not a decade ago that it came out, it must have been around Covid, 2020ish.

Ghostbusters (also marketed as Ghostbusters: Answer the Call)[5] is a 2016 American supernatural comedy film directed by Paul Feig, who co-wrote it with Katie Dippold. Starring Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Leslie Jones, Kate McKinnon, and Chris Hemsworth, it is a reboot of the 1984 film and the third film in the Ghostbusters franchise.
