MrOmnistone, who makes more dynamic poses of 3D Pokémon, tried to fix Mega Feraligatr.
Myself, this would be th equivalent of trying to dewoke Dustborn: you can do that, and the results will be objectively better, bu the best solution would be to redo the whole thing. In this case, while canon Mega Feraligatr looks better, I still prefer a 3D model of Elite Redux Mega Feraligatr.

Its the toilet seat just hanging off in the air. if it just stayed flat like a cape (which would be super cool because capes are cool) until it did its attacks like a frilled neck lizard it would be fine.
I know we already have a filledneck pokemon but that thing sucks.

i kind of love it tbh
DLC wise, it's split again for me.
Liked Megas: Absol Z, Starraptor (the Risotto Nero eyes do it for me), Glimmora (because the original sucks THAT BAD), Baxcalibur (ditto)
Hate Megas: both Raichus, Lucario Z, Heatran, Darkrai (why didn't they keep it as the eye in its intro??), Golurk, Meowstic, Scovillain
Meh Megas: everything else like Crabominable now that I've seen it in the wild

Let's Go games are literally baby's first Pokemon, so that would be it. Plus, there is KANTOOOO nostalgia, and everyone knows Pokemon for it due to the impact Pokemania had back in the day even if they never played a single game.
If you really want her to get a good first impression, she should play Gen 1 games on an emulator or something. Or Fire Red/Leaf Green, those would be the best bets. Shield is medicore and even tho it's super easy, it will be too underwhelming for a newcomer, ditto for Scarlet.

i should add she isnt a gamer.
the last games she played was harvest moon, and super mario 2

Perfect, because Let's Go isn't a game for gamers, it's a game for babies and adults whose only experience with Pokemon is Pokemon Go. You couldn't find a better title for a newcomer, and frankly I don't know who else would play it either, Let's Go games were universally mocked by everyone else who played at least one Pokemon title in their lives. I guess it's fine for a casual gamer, not like it's bad or anything, just shallow even by the definition of the original gameboy titles. That's why I said that even the original gameboy titles emulated on a phone are a better long term choice since everyone has a phone. Let's Go are probably the best choice out of the Switch selection, tho.

Even the anime seems to treat it like a teleportation system to send Pokemon Prof. Oak or whoever instead of literally storing the Pokemon in the cloud.
I would be infinitely more comfortable if future games had a big ranch where your non-party Pokémon go, "PC boxes" get renamed to "batches" or "groups" or something, and "depositing" them is changed to just "sending them to the ranch." And you can even see your guys running around behind the fence if you go to that part of the map.
I liked how your boxed Pokémon would show up on the little jellybean islands in Alola, but I want it to be more explicit, like how Ash would leave his extra Pokémon with Professor Oak.

I know that it's retarded to care about the wellbeing of fake animals that are literally just lines of code, but the point of the series is that we do care. So make it happen, Game Freak.

Depends on if you think she'll want to play more of them going into the future.
- Let's Go Eevee is easiest, but the mechanics are different enough that she might be freaked out / annoyed when she suddenly has to battle wild Pokémon in other games.
- Shield will be a bit tougher gameplay-wise, but it's a very-focused and mostly-archetypal Pokémon experience (aside from the Wild Area). And although I didn't like how short all of the game's individual parts were, for a new player, that might not be a bad thing. For a Switch game, it still provides a really good feel for what other Pokémon games are like.
I would have her start with one of those two.

Especially if she's not already a gamer, I think that Scarlet will be too much for her to manage on her own.
The game kind of relies on you having prior knowledge of how Pokémon games (and open-world games) are supposed to work. Although the different storylines all have waypoints for you to go to, there's hardly anything else connecting them in terms of vibes or characters or motivation, leaving it up to the player to string those storylines together. Without that prior knowledge, I don't think that she'll get as much out of the experience. It'll just feel like a lot of wandering around through environments that she gets increasingly disenchanted with as the variety and meaning that she's hoping for from new environments never actually come.
And, honestly, Scarlet and Violet are missing a lot of the little things that gave past games their distinctive charm.

OK I'm not the only one who liked the Legends Arceus farm and wants to see something similar.

It doesn't have to be ALL of my Pokemon - that's be a lag nightmare that makes Casseroya Lake look framerate stable if you go near it - but just have a fenced in area where like 15-20 random Pokemon of the ones stuck in the PC can be seen and an inaccessible building where the rest of them are implied to be would be a nice touch.

If she's not willing to autistically play through the entire series in release order from start to finish so she can discuss the full intricacies of which game about colorful cartoon animals made for children is the best then she's not the one.

A man's hobbies should be intentionally obscure from the understanding of his wife.

As fun as it is to play video games together, she inevitably get bored with whatever you're doing together and your gaming sessions peter out because her enthusiasm is out of love for you and not for the game itself.
