I think, moreover, its the benefit of the doubt for a sick person. Claiming that someone is faking cancer is an insane move that no one reasonable would do unless they were 100% sure and had undeniable proof. We all know that Vicky is lying, but someone who casually glances at her page sees a beleaguered trans man who is being neglected by doctors, and I think that most people have, at some point, felt ignored or not taken seriously by a doctor, so they do have some empathy for her and other munchies.

For somebody who told us repeatedly that she is dying, she is taking an awful lot of time. I wonder when her imminent death will occur.. . Next week? Next month? In five decades? In a way, we all start dying the minute we are born, so she isn't wrong. Maybe her first words as an infant were already "Tor.....ture... I'm dyiiiiiiing..."

It was definitely of educational value to the students but not the way Vicky thinks. Those students got a huddle with the attending and were told the 411 on hypochondria and munchhausen’s.

Say you like the smell of vanilla and you have a wave of it, do you describe it as. a stench? I'm so confused. I also assume she's not referring to her own stench, because she is probably immune to htat by now and moving position shouldn't make it that more noticeable.

We've established that by "tip myself upside down" she probably means adjusts her wheelchair into a roughly horizontal position (I think @Aunt Carol did some digging earlier in the thread). She's still closer to the ground though, so is she saying she loves the stench of urine and rotting litter that probably emanates from the streets of NYC, or her own never-hoovered/cleaned carpet?

If anybody studied the normativity of language and was in intense pain having to understand why people thought Kripke's reading of Wittgenstein warranted any discussion whatsoever because it was blatantly retarded, I think this is why. Kripke truly was ahead of his time with his "what about if when I say 'plus' I actually mean something totally different." See also Nelson's "Grue" paradox- what if when I say a word at one time I mean one thing, but at another time I mean something totally different.

Sure, the people with brief online or casual interactions. Surface level encounters and medical staff that don’t have time to deep dive, or pull her records, give her the benefit of the doubt. Vicky counts on this. Her only success as a munchie now is thanks to her medical props and benefit of the doubt /typical sympathy humans give to ones who appear afflicted or disabled.

But she absolutely cannot pull off her schtick to anyone beyond the superficial or surface level because she is painfully stupid, inept and a terrible liar. She can only feed on ordinary basic sympathy.

Even the most gullible people online, who totally believe the initial intro BS Vicky dishes out, will fade off once she has Dx herself with the 12th new illness and near death experience of the month. Only munchies and others playing the BPD online attention game casually circle like online flies, only stopping by if her fresh bullshit has something they can make about themselves. She’s got absolutely no one IRL playing along, which why she’s an ER frequent flier.

Vicky basically behaves like the wider world will behave like her concerned parents circa 2015, but that shit doesn’t even work on her actual parents.

Vicky was so stupid she purposely uglified and deformed herself in her munchie quest to punish her parents. She would have gotten much better munchie mileage if she had never touched T and stuck with the ED. She could have been among the pretty, pale, thin ingenue with a service dog but opted instead to join the grotesques, the fat, poor, ugly munchies who’s lives usually revolve around whatever they can grift off Medicaid and being as gross as possible for attention. This might be the only example of her solidarity with poor dumb plebs. She ended up on the very bottom of the online munchie totem pole, when she could have been up top.

No surprise that Vicky’s sex life, just like everything else in her life, consists of fabricated BS to medical professionals.

She hopes her doctor has actually wondered about her sexual needs and is very interested in helping her. Maybe in very unprofessional ways. Now Vicky will fantasize about her doctor having secret fantasies about her.

The only humans that touch her body are medical staff so she hyper-focuses on them. They are the only non-digital aspect of her social life.
 
Looking into her Twitter account, I learned that Vicky had been regularly dying since 2016. She should apply for the Guiness book of world records for most deaths died by a single person as well as longest death spiral (nine years).

To wit, here she is complaining about her common problem, how she keeps almost dying again and again. Now I can relate to this, since every Saturday, I keep almost winning the lottery and never having to work for another day in my life!

You know what sucks? If you have this big school concert coming up but you can't go because you're literally dying from sepsis and covid. Again, I can relate. Often, when I was a schoolkid and there was a maths exam coming up, these inexplicable tummy aches prevented me from going to school. Bummer.

We all know Vicky is a scholar, an activist and a gentlepoon. But did you know that she is an accomplished composer and musician as well? Alas, the world may never hear her wonderful music because of her imminent death (in 2021). Again, I can relate. Once, in the 90s, I had an idea of a boy who does magic. Unfortunately, alcohol and (unsuccessfully) trying to get laid distracted me, so I am not rolling in JKR money today.

Ethics aside, anyone who has really suffered like that for years terrified to try to get out of it and dial only to be in even more pain, would at the very least, take personal comfort in the fact it might exist as an option.
