People want jobs, they want to be able to afford a house, and want immigrants gone. If this is somehow all a mistake his entire team needs to be fired for fucking up the messaging so hard.
I don't see it as a mistake. Part of the deal when it comes to America's economy being tied to the entire world's well-being (in the sense the American dollar can't collapse or a lot of people will end up destroyed, everywhere) is America becomes this cloaca gentium of globalism. Everyone from the world enters the United States to partake in this get rich slow scheme, because American's currency is just that important. Trump is aware that the more nations invest in the USA, beyond the importance of the dollar, the more they will take measures to ensure the United States does not crumble. Because it's certainly on the path to doing so, first economically, now racially and culturally.

batteries are extremely hard to put together without making them a bomb, they need specialized training
Not really, they got a battery plant up near where my dad and my step mom live, https://www.blueovalsk.com/kentucky Listen, i'm not calling my fellow kentuckians dumbasses, but this place isn't hiring the best adn the brightest, and they are hiring directly from the local workforce.

Looks like miller is trying to break through
i work in tech you rage addicted nigger, i literally just survived a layoff where a few of my colleagues who have children who depend on them lost their jobs to a pajeet that they were "incentivized" to train

you're so brainless that you think my disagreeing with you on Israel/Zionism means I disagree with you on everything else and that it's not possible that i would have a neutral nuanced take on something where I put my own biases aside
@Justsomecicada You gotta calm down man.

11% percent of SNAP payments being over payments doesn't seem like the issue is being blown out of proportion. I'd say that isn't being highlighted enough.
The spin doctors always claim people misusing the system, SNAP in this example, are allegedly few and far between. What they fail to grasp, however, is that egregious incident - such as someone on SNAP with $3000 cash on hand - is bad optics for their insistence the program has very little waste and fraud. Even if this is one isolated incident, how many more exist across the country that nobody knows about? Small amounts here and there do add up.

BTW, ITT technical institute only got like 1% of federal student loans but had like 20% of all student loan defaults.
And if I recall, this was the era where all sorts of for-profit schools popped up all over the US only to shut down a short time later for all sorts of shady stuff such as poor graduation rates and quality of education disproportionate to the high tuition, credits that didn't transfer elsewhere as promised, etc. Bummer if you got caught up in that.

it's true. the best part about jews is the videos of them spitting on pajeets who desperately want them to love them.

Okay and you expect voters to give a shit when they hear 50 year mortgages?

Maybe this is just my frustrated older Millennial self talking out of my ass, but I'm coming to the conclusion that the real problem here across both sides of the aisle are the fucking Boomers, or at any rate the well-off Boomers. They want, nay demand, to have a low-paid foreign brown underclass so as to subsidize every last bit of their lifestyle as they enjoy 30 years of retirement on both the wealth they accumulated through their lifetimes and the Social Security/Medicare that those of us actually lucky enough to have a job pay for, never paying a drop or letting the younger generation get the opportunity for wealth building that they enjoyed.
Nobody will ever be more reactionary than a boomer, none of them think about the future because they know they don't have any. Unfortunately, infinity imports from shitholes will make that green line go up really fast.

Old people in power not dying is becoming a problem everywhere. We have had literal cases of people kicking the bucket while holding their seat or their bench.

Like @mandatorylurk said, he probably has it in his head that this is all just temporary training for highly technical factory jobs where the trainers leave after six months.
Similar to how he reacted to the WSJ Epstein love letter, he seems to just think everyone has a psychic understanding of the context in his head, and he doesn't need to clarify anything because he's the president.
It also makes no sense to retain factory trainers, setting up a factory and teaching locals how to operate it safely is a specialized skill, they're not going to tie those people to a specific factory.

It's a South Korean company man, the SK in blueoval SK stands for South Korea.

They likely used the same sort of trainers to set up the factory.

If this was “just” a messaging slip up, then he needs to be better informed. I get people saying “ohhhh he’s just one guy” but 60% of college grads are out of work. This is a five alarm issue, and Trump is being weak on it.

is this a joke? You understand the idea of oil being literal dinosaur bones is like a simplification meant for children right?
Oil is primarily made from algae. Democrats hate naturally processed green energy. Don't they know the environment is at stake!
Cucking on h1b is the end of the world as far as supporting him goes and i am not the only one who feels that way

I’m so confused right now, he’s saying this but getting rid of OPT?
Similar to Trump 1, the more subtle of Trump's policies have a larger impact than people think. I'm not supporting him talking nice about h1b and how we need to keep it. People voted for him to be a bull in the China shop. At the same time, don't dismiss all the small changes he makes to gum up the process and make it not worth it for more and more people.

Okay and you expect voters to give a shit when they hear 50 year mortgages?
No, I expect people to vote in accordance to whatever welfare promises benefit them, and to immediately die if the grocery store trucks stop arriving for a month. I don't see how that's related to Donald Trump believing he can salvage the glossy, vaporwave-esque, thoroughly-dead corpse of the United States up just a little longer with the same plans that led to the Roman Empire being destroyed by barbarians.

Trump is usually good at reading the room, it's part of why the average Joe likes him. Trump did give Vivek the boot after he basically said the same thing about America "needing" Indians because Americans are not smart enough or willing to do the work that Indians do. So I'm a little confused as to why Trump is essentially saying the exact same shit as Vivek when he knows American rage is barely being contained at the moment. Part of what is keeping it contained is the promise of illegals going home and better job oppertunities. What Trump said is very tone deaf and not going to go over well.

I am not dooming, but there needs to be some serious course correct.
