It would’ve been nice to reassess the EBT budget because it’s obviously being abused, while people that COULD use the assistance are shafted out due to household size, income, whatever excuse they come up with. This proves that our government and elected officials doesn’t like to fix flaws within the system. Just kick the can further and prolong the inevitable with more money printing.
Dammit why you got to interrupt my warm fuzzy feelings with good points?

Not saying GW was great or that the Iraq War was a good idea
There was no alternative back then, though why, despite Israeli Intelligence and German Intelligence warning the US about a bunch a Qatari towel heads planning something big, 9/11 was not prevented to have a narrative that was hoped to be passed through the UNSC, which the Russians and Chinks knowingly prevented and led to the coalition of the willing; the Sauds threatened to let the '74 Salomon-Brother deal run out, IF Georgy didn't fulfill his daddys promise from back then to get rid of the Sauds biggest competition, Sadam. And the Sauds not buying US treasuries and dealing exclusively in dollar for dinosaur blood, would have been the end of the USA as an economic and financial hegemon, and subsequently the end of the US as a military hegemon.
And after the Sauds threatened the same shit again in 2007, leading to 2008, a few egg heads around John Nash came up with the most retarded bullshit ever conceived, buttcorns.

I was reliably told by well-connected people that the 9/11 fiasco was due to US intelligence not suspecting an attack on US soil. We knew there would be a serious attack against the US somewhere during the month of September in 2001, but no one thought it would be an attack on the homeland. The US expected an attack on a US installation abroad - an embassy, a base, something like that.

Saddam had a target on his back for years because of his aforementioned support for terrorist groups. His government trained, funded, and sheltered a lot of terrorists. That's why nobody really cared when the US invaded: Saddam had a fuckload of enemies throughout the world.

It is suspected that some higher-ups in the Saudi government had something to do with 9/11, but we'll never know because they were purged by Saudi mainliners. What's not a secret is that the Pakistani government helped out Osama Bin Laden, Al-Qaeda, and the Taliban the entire time we were in Afghanistan. It's a wonder we don't invade those assholes.

Total Cartel Death video to start the day

I wonder how far up North. Bombing Mexican drug cartels or niggers from Columbia.
Bluesky continues to be funnier satire than the Onion and Babylon Bee put together.
I don't know what's funnier, drug runners who are stupid enough to try to run drugs knowing that they are going to get blown the fuck up, or the cry babies on blue sky having emotional blow ups.
Either way, today is a good day to be a normal.

The government is still shut down, and this only funds it through January 2026, so we might be looking at a sequel shutdown again in the future, unless they just come to some sort of reasonable agreement (lol)

Wasn't this shutdown because of illegal aliens getting ACA benefit? I used to know some Latinx Tranny that got her boobs chopped thanks to the ACA, she used to live with like 10 family members in some small fucking apartment, none of them were even here legally.

Correct, neither the Israeli, nor the Germans nor the US knew what exactly was planned, it was all about very suspicious financial streams that had the alarms go off; but once the planes were in the air, the decision was shoot them down and prevent a bigger disaster, or let it happen - with the latter be chosen as an opportunistic justification of the consequent 24 years ff shitshow.

"Terrorists" are just useful idiots, to be weaponized by whoever needs them for whatever. In that regard Iraq was not a threat, but a resource. But threatening the Sauds quasi-monopoly and its leverage over the USA thanks to Bush sen. (in his function as ambassador to the UN), Nixon and Ford, who from the perspective back then did the "right" thing to make sure the US is going to win the cold war, that's a reason for a war and a regime change; no matter the costs.

Yes, there were power struggles among the Sauds, some wanted the deal top end to orient toward China and Russia, others, among them the old King wanted to keep the connection with the USA. The new King, the gambling addict whoring bin Salami is a complicated case, never really got over the Clinton-Bush fast and furious CIA Niggers trying to use their "terrorists" to liquidate him in Vegas; but it doesn't matter anymore, the Sauds leverage massively diminished, they play ball or they go back to be camel traders.
On Pakistan, same shit, power struggles; some want to lose the connection with the USA (and Brits) others are want to stay in bed with the Anglos; also never forget, Pakistan is a nuclear power, cant just shock an awe in there.

(not so fun) facts, while looking some stuff up, I got into looking up Cloture stats. Dems have filed cloture motions roughly one and a half times as many as republicans in the last 20 years, 1,297 vs 864. The only time period where republicans consistently surpassed dem usage of cloture was, you guessed it, during Obama.

You might think you hate politic as much as you should, you really don't.

Pardon my niggas Alex Jones and Mike Lindell

By the way it should be noted after some research that the Democrats actually did get a concession from the Republicans, a pretty big one in my opinion, to open the government. The Federal Employees and Democrat programs Trump cut during the government shut down are being re-hired and re-instated. The shutdown was literally a waste of time for both sides lol.
It's really not that much of a concession as those RIFs will probably be tied up by courts for at least that long anyways.

No one was really sure what was going on following 9/11 and there was an assumption that Iraq had some involvement because, at the time, Iraq trained, sponsored, and aided several terrorist groups
It's so weird looking back at movies produced around that time and seeing how uber-patriotic Hollywood became for two seconds.
The "You mess with one of us, you mess with all of us!" scene in Spider-Man 1, where a bunch of New Yorkers throw a bunch of shit at the Green Goblin, is forever burned into my mind as a scene that could only have existed in the scant few months post-9/11.

America may receive a patented UN strongly worded letter thanks to the Chiraq mayor.
“This administration seeks to evade scrutiny for its violations of human rights — just as it has sought to evade accountability for its actions in cities like mine,” Johnson said.

He urged the U.N. to hold the U.S. to the same standards it applies to other nations.

“We cannot do this alone,” Johnson said. “That is why I call on this Council to hold the federal government of the United States to the same standards of accountability you apply elsewhere in the world. No country should be above international law. Human rights are universal — or they are meaningless.”

You guys, the government is still shut down. It's day 41. What happened last night didn't open it. Senate reconvenes at 11am to bitch and vote more.

Meanwhile, tomfoolery continued last night -- a Sunday night -- in the Massachusetts SNAP case (Half the States v. America).
Fucking hilarious. Note the pointed italics where they remind the states that they never said you could go ahead and start spending full SNAP bennies after the District Court's order, and you're fucking responsible for whatever shortfalls occurred as a result, fuckheads (slightly paraphrased). Hopefully the USDA files a copy of this letter in the Massachusetts case with all speed, where those states are demanding to be "held harmless" i.e. not to face any consequences for their fuckery in this regard.

ETA: I just got the notification it was also filed in the Massachusetts case. Good going, Rollins!

After USDA bitched out the plaintiffs in both this case and the Rhode Island one about their idiotic move to fund full SNAP benefits when they were not authorized to do so, plaintiffs in this case filed yet another annoyed motion for a TRO. They also demanded an emergency hearing for today, Monday.

They go on and on and on bitching about USDA's shifting guidance, all of which stemmed out of judicial orders from this court and the ones involved in the Rhode Island case, blah blah nothing really new, irreparable harm this, hold harmless that. Then this morning, Judge Indira Talwani finally got off her ass:
1762785620954.png

Granting plaintiffs' motion to "stay" USDA's command to undo any full SNAP bennies action the states took without authorization and their threats of action if the states don't do so. She also agrees to bump up the scheduled hearing from Thursday to this afternoon at 3:30 and have it remotely. Presumably sometime between this morning and this afternoon the judge will have watched the news and know that the shutdown will supposedly be ending soon, so we'll find out how that'll affect this joke of a case.

Meanwhile, in the Rhode Island case, the 1st Circuit Court of Appeals has denied the government's other request for a stay (the one that wasn't already stayed by SCOTUS). They, too, want the government to funnel money away from child nutrition programs and into the Skittles and ice cream EBT cards.

In light of this, Justice Kwantanamo Jackson at SCOTUS is on top of things and wants quick action from the parties if they intend to continue to appeal these matters:

God bless America.

Why is this dude always up to some weird shit? Yeah congress needs to restrict or outright remove pardoning power, cause he has over done this shit by a mile.
Congress niggers shouldn’t restrict shit because they are spiritually cucked and that means any restrictions they make will be mega cucked aswell if it doesn’t result in total government paralysis.
